Very eclectic mix of items and Heather was very helpful and informative. Got some sleeper gemstone items too that you may not expect to find there. Check them out!

New stuff arriving frequently. They also have books and movies for sale. Some very good deals on records and holiday merchandise. You might find some piece of treasure from Vernon-Rockville's past years including rulers from former businesses in that area. The staff are nice people of whom we felt welcomed by as we are interested in antiques.

My husband and I love going to this shop whenever we get the chance on our days off. There is always something interesting to find be it for decoration, curiosity, or even a restoration project to tackle. One of my favorite items is an old army locker I bought some months ago that was in great condition. Sadly, while I don't have a picture of the locker, I do have some of the best cookie jars I've ever seen in my life.

I went into store listed as Thrift Store. Majority of items are priced like an antique store. If your looking to get a used dresser be prepared. I found 1 that was from the 70s top all scratched up, priced at $75.00. That is not a thrift store. That is pricing you would find at an antique store. Go to Savers or Goodwill. This is Not a Thrift Store, Buyer Beware.

John Thomas Treasures is the kind of place you pass by countless times in your life, but only on a sunny Wednesday evening do you finally decide to check it out.Admittedly, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. From the outside, one might think it was some sort of pawn shop, but the interior gave off a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and wasn't at all dingy or overly cluttered. Antique fishing equipment, some antique (and a whole lot of retro!) tools, holiday knick-knacks, toys, and countless other interesting items were well organized all about the (surprisingly large) shop. If that wasn't enough, the basement was LOADED with enough old, wooden furniture to give a restorer enough to play with for a solid year. The owners were also friendly and more than willing to make a deal, so any carpenters looking to turn a profit on restorable furniture should definitely check them out.If I could compare this store to anything, I'd compare it to Marlow's of Manchester, which was a favorite part of my childhood and, unfortunately, closed well over a decade ago. I'm genuinely looking forward to my next visit and hope to see more visitors there when next I get the chance.

A vintage shop is always fun to explore! This spot caught my eye as I was headed home and I'm so glad I made the trip! Great selection and a fun crew running the shop.

All kinds of old things, at reasonable prices, beautifully exhibited by two nice people who love their work. This is one of those rare, magical places to step back in time, and step out with a special find.

Amazing store! Very nice customer service, helped me find lots of amazing items I never knew existed! I was born in the late 90s, so it was very interesting seeing so many unique items from the 50s, 60s, 70s, & 80s. Most items are in very good condition given their age, and everything is reasonably priced. If you think the price is too high, the wonderful person working behind the counter will happily make you a fair deal. Don’t make the same mistake I made and show up 10 minutes before close, there is so much to see! Plan to spend at least 20-30 minutes here, more if you’re the type to stop and reminisce over every item you recognize from your childhood (like me). The kind woman working was thankfully very patient and allowed my girlfriend and I to continue looking around 20 minutes past closing time, and we only covered half the store! I can’t recommend this place enough, this was a great experience and I look forward to going back very soon.
