Shout out to Doug for cleaning out the gigantic lint that was buildup in our Electra Lux dryer.. He was pleasant and did a great job for us .. He's definitely out go-to guy..

Doug came to diagnose my stove which wasn't heating up. Charged a very reasonable fee to check it out, was quick to do the inspection, and came out when scheduled. Unfortunately for my stove, it is not worth the repair cost, but he was upfront and honest with pricing and advice. Will be calling Doug for future appliance...

Doug's Appliance Repair Service is a family owned and operated business. I started this company back in 1983 while in college studying chemistry at CCSU. I enjoyed the challenge of identifying why things broke and how to correctly fix them! Everyday is something totally different in appliance repair. You never know what your going to see--and I've seen it all! I'm really good at what I do, and take pride in my workmanship. I tell you the way it is...then give you the best price to get your appliance working like new. If something is a questionable repair, I'll tell you! I'll discuss with you all the options.
