Just seems like the stores are always so nice and clean when they first open, and then slowly but surely they get flipped upside down. Some worst than others. “Today March 22, Friday afternoon at about 2 pm while going through the check out the cashier told me the police were called on a man being belligerent and not me and thoroughly explained to what had happened. I noticed 3 people just passed him talking or arguing???While shopping I ran into a store employee that I've known from before showing me items and new items too that would have cause me to give the Crown Market 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BTW her name is Karen, same one who waited on me going through the check out, until......While I'm going through the check out I noticed that the West Hartford police was there standing next to the office was the owner of the Crown and a woman was there too taking amongst themselves.I can't help that the owner of the Crown market called the police on me.If so, what did I do to you.(Who called the police, what is the nature of your complaint , what is your evidence?).As a healer this was most injurious (anytime the police are calling on me or otherwise just happen to be there or show up.)This isn't about me it's about everybody as I don't like it being done to someone else either I'm very big a how one treats another.I'm a healer who is a empath, a empath who is a healer, I'm known by some as Lucio the healerThis was a non contact incident as I was not stoped by the officer and or store personnel when I was leaving the store.Shorty after I left the store I passed by it on 62 bus heading back to downtown Hartford and the police car was gone.It's entirely possible that the store has a problem with my attire.I wear black leather biker jacket and black leather pants and black sunglasses and my vinyl biker jacket and pants which is black smooth and shiny and many miss treat me as a result this is prejudice and profiling .I am that I am a Jew who wears leather.From Lucio the healer ?❤️ ”

However today when I visited the back area smelled of cigarette smoke, almost positive someone was smoking or had recently smoked in the back area and it really turned me off and left instead of continuing to shop. Please rectify this. No one wants to smell cigarettes in an establishment they are shopping at.”

“Angelo’s has quickly become one of my new favorite Italian markets! Pastries, deli sandwiches, and imported products - they have it all, and everything is so high quality! I’m obsessed with their Easter bread, and their cannoli, lobster tails, and amaretti cookies are all incredible. The prosciutto deli sandwich was one of the best I’ve had! They were generous with the olive oil, and their freshly baked bread was fantastic. The owners were really sweet and welcoming, and they even have tables for you to sit at and enjoy your sandwich in the front of the market. This was a feast for the eyes and I could wander around for hours looking at everything!”

“This grocery chain is a little on the pricier side compared to its competition. However, it's clean, well stocked, and has a great prepared foods section. On the weekends, it gets busy.The produce was fresh; had the clementines and they were the sweetest. The meats counter had a unique selection to choose from. We had the Chinese sausages and they were delicious.I walked by the sushi section and the chef was rolling up fresh rolls right before lunch time.If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend their dollar chocolate pies, SO GOOD!Checkout: they have quite a few self checkouts available and an associate ready to assist. Bring your own bags or pay 10 cents per paper bag. Overall, it's a good spot to get some of your grocery needs.”

“The best market for discounted grocery items. It changes weekly, so if you like something, grab it! It might not be stocked the next time you go back. Some items are close to expiring and need to be consumed within a few days, others, like juices, frozen goods, etc., might have damaged caps or boxes, but the food is still sealed and edible. All of the food I've seen has come from Costco, BJ's, Whole Foods, Big Y, Stop & Shop, and others, and there are many name brand items. I appreciate that there is a local place like this that sells these items instead of throwing them away. It is nice to know that they make an effort to try and re-sell the items that, in other cases, may go directly to a landfill. Check out their Facebook page where they post frequently of new items that hit the shelves.”

“I'm pretty surprised to see the ratings on this Whole Foods so low. Without a doubt it is the best Whole Foods I've ever been to. The selection can't be beat and the little extras like the mochi ice cream section and variety of macarons are great. Their store setup makes it easy to find whatever you need. The store is always clean and organized and fully stocked whenever we visit. The food is fresh and the quality and variety of products make this store special. The customer service is exceptional. I never met a single person who worked here that wasn't friendly or helpful. Love shopping in this store!”

“Stopped in on a whim and really glad I did! The man working was so friendly and helpful. I didn't even notice it but he saw that the quality of the sauerkraut I picked out wasn't the best and went right into the cooler and got me a brand new bag. The prices for everything seemed really fair and I was able to pick up some veg that you don't normally see outside if a Wholefoods.”

“Came here this morning to meet my boyfriend and to get a coffee and some breakfast. He visited the breakfast bar and was very happy with the eggs and potato's! I got some yogurt and a fresh hot coffee! We were both happy with how intentional the barista was and I am in love with my triple shot mocha!! It doesn't taste burned in the slightest and it was one of the less-expensive espresso drinks I've gotten lately. I would come to Whole Foods for coffee! Just did not realize it was an option! (Note they have a seasonal date and something else coffee I was eyeing and I might have to try it next time. Will update this review when I figure out precisely what it was called!!) I don't often go to grocery in the AM but honestly the ambiance at this store was lovely! Upbeat happy music, bright and clean, and most of the employees had smiles!”

“Sushi is pretty good, self checkout is smooth and not irritating. Local goods are also sold here which is a plus.The returnables area only has 3 machines if I remember correctly, and they don't accept Avery's bottles, or Kirkland water bottles.”
