We spoke with a woman in the office who set us up with an appointment. They forgot about the appointment, we had to call and remind them. The man who came to my boyfriend and I's house was very kind HOWEVER, he knew we had been without an oven for weeks and never followed up with a quote. We called about a week later and asked the office to follow up with a quote. I'm telling you we NEVER heard back.

The person came quietly and filled the tank, left the invoice on the garage door. No contact and no issues, first visit for me, no complaints whatsoever.

continue to have horrible experience with this outfit.there is always an issue with the propane statements sent out.and when you call and talk to someone the claim they will review it but obviously they don't. Definitley a MAJOR ISSUE in the accounting dept over there.

I have been with Suburban Propane for about 4 years. The first year was great, I used to deal with a woman named Liz and also Megan. I am on auto delivery and last year is when the problems started. Last year I had a billing issue where I had a fixed rate. The first delivery I was incorrectly charged and I spoke to the office. They were apologetic and said they would rectify the billing error. It took 6 months!!!! I kept getting charged late fees, I sent in letters to the office with the agreement of the fixed rate. Nothing but a complete hassle.This year, again nothing but problems. The office staff isn't friendly. I am on auto delivery and I called 2 weeks ago questioning when my next delivery would be sense they never came in December. I have prepaid for the season and now they are telling me my approximate delivery isn't for another 2 weeks. I am down to 30% in my 500 gal tank and the woman in the office told me she can't call me back when my delivery will come, it doesn't matter that I am on auto delivery, they base my delivery on last year's usage. How asinine considering the weather is different every winter. I am at the point, done with the rudeness, not getting monthly deliveries and it seems the office staff is a train wreck. Nice way to treat a customer who has been with you for 4 years!!!

Moved to Woodbury a year ago. Worked with Liz to set up my account and all was well. Deliveries were made timely. Everyone was very nice. But Liz doesn’t appear to be there anymore. Mostly dealt with Megan and Sabrina now.We needed our gas barbecue hooked up to our propane tank as well as our new gas range, but we weren’t quite ready for the range hook up yet. We did not want to pay for two visits and made that clear at the time of our appointment. We were told we would not be double charged. Yet, of course, we were.It took over 7 months to get this issue resolved, during which time (over the winter months), no propane was delivered to us. My calls were unanswered. There was a period of time after Thanksgiving when no one answered the phone due to Covid-19 issues at the office. The customer service was horrible. It was only after I escalated the issue to the call center and a regional manager that someone returned my call.Then, having thought we came to an agreement, no credit was applied to my account for a month. When I asked about it, the manager decided to change the terms we agreed to. Not good business practices. When I asked for the regional manager’s name and number, the credit was finally applied to my account.I don’t like being taken advantage of and I don’t like companies with a lack of customer service. I’m really disappointed with how this was handled and am thinking of switching to another propane provider.

Edit 5/19/21I’d like to say Sabrina was great with helping w a communication issue I had w Suburban. Rick was able to come to my home and give all the info I need moving forward. Looking forward to becoming a customer!Terrible communication! Appt window 8a-noon w out a phone call. Salesman shows up and leaves when door wasn’t answered due to floors being sanded. Requested phone call for this specific reason. Multiple cars in driveway. Clearly we were there. Was told by receptionist that they don’t call when on site but that wasn’t the case pre appt. I call up to discuss getting the salesman back just after he left but was told next week was the soonest (after he just left via a 4hr appt window) do your research. Communication w suburban is brutal!

Great service!!! I had no issues with the propane installation and delivery.
