Sign out front says 32 cash per yard for mulch pick up, got charged 40 and after I got loaded up and told me the black much I got is a different price, the cherry on top is that 2 days later it rains and the mulch is all faded, looks brown… garbage quality, deceitful prices, never coming back here

Great selection of pollinator friendly perennials. They care about the environment and have many native plants and trees to add to your gardens and landscape. The plants are well taken care of. Plus nice customer service.

Buyers be aware that this place sells dead grasses and plants! I bought 12 grass sods rolled on plastic from Wakeman's white birch nursery and upon installation we found two grass sods were completely dead so I brought it back to Wakeman for a refund. The employee there took away the dead grass sods but the owner on the phone instructed casher that they don't do refund, which means you're out of luck as buyers if they sell you dead plants & grasses & flowers! I find it hard to believe that this local business can get away by ripping customers because trumbull/monroe is a very good community! Please do yourself a favor and save any potential headache by going to other nurseries in the area! unbelievable terrible customer services!

Wonderful time at White Birch today - Dave was so patient and helpful with me as I showed him my spaces and what I was looking to do. And I loved playing ball with his sweet pup :-) Definitely recommend and will continue to use!

Excellent nursery, top quality plant material. Many cultivars available that can be found nowhere else in the area. Grounds are meticulously maintained and plants are always healthy and clean of pathogens. Owner is very knowledgeable in his field and service is prompt and friendly.

This is a great place. I visited here and was helped by Lexie and Wyn. The staff was kind, knowledgeable and polite. They did not have the tree I was looking for but Lexie did a phenomenal job offering alternatives. After doing my own research, I will be returning to purchase one of the trees she recommended. This place has the most beautiful selection and cares about their customers. I will never buy plants from Home Depot again!

Very personal and always helpful for all my landscape ideas and needs. Just follow the instructions for what you purchase and you will be happy with the results. The website has great content and the owners are passionate. Our yard is full of different trees and plants from White Birch and we always get nice compliments from neighbors and friends! Good for mulch and topsoil too!

I have mixed feelings about White Birch from a customers standpoint. The quality of their plants are excellent, but way overpriced. Almost twice as much compared to some of the other local nurseries in the area. That being said, I don't care so much about cost as I do customer service. Dave's knowledge regarding trees/plants is very good, but his customer service skills are terrible. In this day and age when online purchasing and Home Depot are taking a huge chuck out of local businesses' sales, you need to rely on customer service which both online and Home Depot don't have. Good luck trying to find someone who knows what they are talking about at Home Depot. You're definitely on your own there. Of course there's nothing wrong with that if you know what you're doing.Customers, like myself, want the advice from an onsite expert who can help turn a daunting landscaping project into a success. Throw in some encouragement and we will buy almost anything you recommend. Whether we need it or not. :)That's where White Birch drops the ball in so many ways. They have a great selection of healthy plants, but charge exorbitant prices for them. Throw in a less than interested sales approach and well, I'm off to Home Depot to figure things out for myself. That's where Dave needs to turn his business around before it's too late.Dave, you need to simply run the business in the background. You come across as uninterested and maybe even a little condensing when I've stopped by. I don't think you're a j**** I just don't think you're a people person. Not everyone is.Dave, in order to gain some ground against HD, I highly suggest you hire a knowledgeable, charismatic staff who likes to work with customers. I would even go as far as to offer customers a chilled bottled of water when they arrive and encourage them to look around and ask questions if they need help. I'm certainly willing to pay a little extra for the hand holding.Just my two cents.
