I can't say enough nice things about the Dr's and support staff at Trumbull Animal Hospital. They have taken care of all of our dogs and cats for the last 26 years. Office hours are convenient, the facility is clean and welcoming and the Dr's and staff are knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Our animals love 'em too!!!!

Dr. Tarsi and her staff were absolutely wonderful with Bailey. One of the best things about Dr. Tarsi was that she took the time to talk to me as a person and not just an owner. She clearly saw how close Bailey and I were, and although the outcome wasn’t we had hoped for, she again took the time to follow up and offer advise. Can’t thank her and her staff enough.

?????This clinic is irresponsible when it comes to animals! I am outraged that the doctors are unable to provide a diagnosis after conducting numerous tests. They list all possible options, covering themselves but failing to give a clear answer to the client, and as a result, prescribe medication that worsened the condition. The manager's behavior is simply dreadful! Instead of trying to resolve the client's issue, she aggressively points to the door, kicking you out. This is the worst service I have encountered. People bring their pets hoping to receive help from a qualified specialist, but when a client demands an explanation about their pet's condition, they are angrily shown the door. Unfortunately, I was unable to have a constructive conversation with the doctor, who could not answer my questions. But they sure know how to quickly present you with a bill.

Before contacting this clinic, I read a few reviews. But what a mistake it was not to read all the reviews to the end before bringing my pet here. Read the reviews in full!
I am outraged by the attitude of the enraged manager towards a client when the doctors cannot provide a clear diagnosis of the dog's condition but are certain that the diagnostics cost $897.23. Without giving a clear diagnosis, they confidently state that surgery is needed today, right here and now, and they precisely quote the cost—$5275.64. I have never encountered such aggression, deception, and the fact that the procedure, which they claimed was done, was not actually performed. The doctor just laughs in your face, not admitting their mistake—this is outrageous! For them, money comes first, not the life of your pet.
Also, my pet was given some pills that I was not informed about. When he was returned, there was something white mixed with saliva on his lip, and later, the outline of his nose turned white. This indicates that he was given medication without my knowledge.

I give this clinic the lowest rating because I am outraged by the way the doctor and the manager treated their clients. Five days ago, I visited this clinic with my dog, who had problems with her urinary system. My dog is only two years old. The doctor kindly received us and said that it was probably an infection and that he needed to confirm it. He took the dog for an ultrasound and said that he did not see any reasons for concern other than an infection and prescribed antibiotics. My dog took antibiotics for five days, but there was no improvement, so today we returned to the clinic.
Another doctor attended to us, took the dog for tests, and said that they would insert a catheter into the bladder to check the situation. We brought the dog's urine sample for analysis, but the doctor said that it was not suitable for testing. An ultrasound was performed, and according to the results, nothing was detected. Then, we were told that an X-ray and urgent surgery were necessary. We agreed. The bill for diagnostics and surgery was provided immediately.
After this, the doctor vaguely explained the diagnosis while showing the X-ray but did not provide the ultrasound images. The diagnosis was as follows: blockage of the urinary system. I asked what the cause was, and they began to list all possible options, protecting themselves from making a mistaken diagnosis (heart, kidneys, stones, and of course, infection). I asked the doctor how stones were not detected on the ultrasound five days ago. They are visible in humans, so why not in a small dog? I reminded them that the first doctor assured us it was an infection. The new doctor then said that he "washes his hands" of this case and called for the manager.
While we were waiting for the manager in the corridor, the doctor who had attended to us five days ago walked by. I told him that his diagnosis was incorrect and that the antibiotics he prescribed could have worsened the dog's condition. His reaction surprised me: he smiled and said that he didn't see anything on the ultrasound. I am sure that there was no proper ultrasound done because the dog was taken away for only 5 minutes, and her belly was dry. I agree, skin can be wiped quickly, but the fur won't dry in 5 minutes!
Then the most unpleasant thing happened. The manager entered the room, very angry, and demanded that we leave the clinic immediately. We asked for a reason, and she replied that she would not allow anyone to question the competence of her doctors! I have a question: how can you kick out a patient who they said urgently needed surgery? The manager refused to explain anything further!
I am extremely unhappy with the first visit because the diagnosis was incorrect, and the ultrasound procedure was not conducted properly. I am also unhappy with the second visit to this clinic because I did not receive a clear answer about my dog's condition, despite the supposedly thorough examination. The manager's behavior was shocking—I am a client who came for help for my pet, but in the end, we were kicked out without any help!

Amazing pet hospital! The docs, the techs and the admins at the desk are all simply amazing. Warm, caring group of people and you just feel that energy as soon as you walk in. This office is a well-oiled machine too. My dog has anxiety about going to the vet but in this place he is just different. He's calmer, curious and not freaking out to get to the exit. I am thrilled with them. They were recommended to me by a family member so now here's my recommendation to everyone!
