While the shop itself is beautifully designed, I must give it only one star, and I wish I could give zero due to the customer service experience. Unfortunately, I have never encountered such poor service anywhere else in the world.
The salesperson was excessively focused on enforcing rules, which quickly became irritating. Instead of listening to our needs, they frequently interrupted and spoke over us, showing a lack of attentiveness and respect. There was nothing spiritual or sensitive about their approach, which contradicted the shop’s ambiance.
After just eight minutes, my family and I decided to leave because we couldn’t tolerate the salesperson’s behaviour any longer. I hope the shop can improve its customer service to match the beauty of its physical space.

Go to An American Craftsman in midtown Manhattan to buy boxology, and artistic woodwork made by Americans. There's a store in the American dream Mall that sells crystals. You don't have to wait outside , and they're a fraction of the cost from this store. You can buy sarongs and everything else in this store elsewhere for less money. This is a generic mall store that enforces too many rules so you can look at cheap, mass produced reproductions. They only allow one person in the store at a time so they can follow you around. It may be an anti theft measure but it's horrible customer service. Perhaps it's a gimmick to make people feel special about buying crystals at a mall with chain stores. First time I tried to go I didn't feel like waiting for people to browse. When I stepped away, two other people got in line. So I didn't bother. This time the store was empty and the store associate made me wait outside while someone got a reading. Those people must have been invisible because No one walked out of the store, and there weren't any other employees in the store to conduct a reading. I found it belittling to require parents to hold their child's hand. My kid can afford to buy anything she breaks. If she broke something the Worse case scenario would be the store making a sale. I've let her touch glass figurines in museum shops without incident. You night as well order fully charged crystals from Amazon. Shopping at this gimmick won't change your energy.

Entered this store today only to be escorted out the door by a rude employee. Told me to wait until I was invited in. There was no one in the store that I could see, why the wait. I will never again visit this store or recommend it. You may have lost a sale.
The answers posted to some of the reviews are quite snarky. I don’t understand how they are still in business.

Don't bother with this place. Walked in with my wife to browse and were immediately met by a rude employee who told us he would "show us where we could wait outside the store". There was 1 customer in the store at the time. We didn't have the right energy to shop there according to Captain Sparkles. He was so totally condescending and over righteous I wanted to slap the flower out from behind his ear. If I could rate it less than 1 star I would.

The crystals and wooden craft may be beautiful. But it is more like a Museum with lots of rules - No touching, hold kids hand all the time, stand in line when entire store is empty. Staff is very good following these rules. We had come out of store within a minute, because I forgot to continue holding my daughters hand ?

Actually crazy. There is something so eerily off about this store and the workers. I have been visited here and met the workers many times and each time is a baffling experience. I would love to shop in this store, there are some beautiful pieces and merchandise. However, the way they run the business is insane. You have to wait in a line for some invisible, imaginary shopper to leave and only when they decide you can enter, they let you enter. You cannot touch anything and you and the rest of the party you came with cannot split apart. Not only are these rules pretty ridiculous, but the workers are rude. The responses back to other negative reviews are especially disappointing, being nasty to genuine criticism and helpful insight to would-be shoppers. Something is seriously not right about this store.

I'm sure I'll get the usual copy and paste response from the manager, but I'm editing an old review, and I've shopped in your store and purchased things before, so hopefully you actually read what I write.
I attempted to shop at the store recently to buy a surprise for my wife. Unfortunately when I asked to enter I was told to wait outside, fine I can wait my turn but there were no customers inside. Its such a strange way to run a buisness, making people arbitrarily wait with no explanation.
From the boiler plate responses on other negative reviews I'm guessing the owner doesnt actually read them.

I will never go back to this store. I was excited to go inside and respectfully waited outside to be let it. Upon entering the store I asked jokingly why they had strange rules, but the employee (man) went on a rant about all the countries the store held and random stuff that didn’t have to do with my question but i still went along with it. Then he proceeded to ask me “who he was mostly talking to/ looking at” when we walked in (me and my sister) and I said I’m not sure. He then told me he was only talking to my sister cause I had the energy that I “wasn’t ready” to be in the store then called me rude for absolutely no reason (assuming because I asked about the strange rules??). My sister didn’t even want to go in the store in the first place so none of that made sense. It honestly ruined my trip to the mall cause I felt judged and brought down by him saying that about me. I honestly wanted to buy something too but I was totally turned off my the whole store after that, so I politely said thank you and left. I’m on a trip here from Florida and I’ve been wanting to go to this store for a long time , so it was very upsetting to experience that within 5 minutes of walking in. Please do better and don’t immediately judge your customers based on what energy you believe they give. It’s very rude and really put my mood down for the day.

Was literally in the EMPTY store .. told them exactly what I wanted. Asked to go wait outside until I was invited in. Okay I didn't read the sign.... I mean we are in a mall why would I think I couldn't enter the store? I waited 5 min while the 2 women associates stood & talked to each other! You have got to be kidding me . Not to mention the immature, childish responses to people's reviews, that is literally disgusting. This place is clearly not a place with good energy. 0/1000

Alright so I’m just going to go ahead & say it. There is something very wrong & off about this store. I came here with my Mom about 2 weeks ago & we saw the items in the window & wanted to check it out because it looked really cool. When we got there the lady at the front said we had to wait outside for an unknown amount of time. We said okay & after 5 minutes we asked again but after we were told to continue waiting despite there being no customers in the store & it was fully staffed we just left. But as we were walking away a man from the opposite direction of the store who I think is the manager ran by us & said wow there are some cool stuff here I am going to check it out!! So after that they went in the store so we decided to go back to try to get in again since he got in we thought he was a customer at the time but then we were greeted by the same man who turned out to be a manager I think anyways he said they had “paying customers” at the store & we had to wait despite not seeing anyone there other then him & that lady that works there. So we left. It’s a weird vibe & I am kinda convinced that the store might either be some sort of Cult or a front for illegal stuff. Anyway someone should check it out cause that store aint right.

Came to visit only to have the sales associate tell me they'll show me where to wait outside before being let in. The store was empty and I said "I only want to browse" but was told I needed to wait anyway without any reason given so I left.
In regard to your response, today is Friday. The weekend is considered Saturday and Sunday. The store was empty. That means no other customers were in it.
Had the sales associate explained why I needed to wait outside maybe I would have been more accommodating.
When responding please try to have your response match the facts stated.

I was at Trumbull Mall (4-29-2024) with my daughter when we both noticed this beautiful store and were immediately drawn in. We were kindly greeted by a nice woman and let in. We understood&respected the rules so we left the items we had with us from our previous shopping in the designated area they asked me place them, seeing as one of them was a container of food, no problem at all, totally understand. My daughter is a young 6yr old, and she absolutely understood not to touch anything and to stay with me, in which she did so with no question. She even made it clear to me, her own Father that it's b/c we don't want anything to break or become tarnished/dirty. Needless to say I am fortunate to have a child who understands the importance of rule following. We were inside for only about 5 minutes when a gentlemen approached us and said they needed to close the store for about only about 15 minutes b/c they had a delivery that needed to be picked up. Ok no problem, we stepped out and decided to wait near by till the gentlemen (I assume the manager) arrived back from picking up the delivery.
But we had noticed that the door to the store was still left open with the other employee there, and shortly after we saw a potential customer enter the store. After seeing this, naturally something felt off.
I noticed that whether good, bad or indifferent that management is very responsive on here with reviews, which is actually great, seeing as there are businesses out there that pay no mind to reviews whatsoever so it shows they appreciate feedback. With that being said I am asking this with sincerity if there was something we had done wrong.
I can see there are mixed reviews on here, and heavily on both ends of the spectrum in regards to "good" or "bad" experiences, but regardless I do my best not to character assassinate. Please forgive me for my lengthy writings. Appreciate &thankful for your response/feedback if you choose to follow up. Have a great day!
