“Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Al has a lot of treasures in store. Definitely worth the trip if you're in the neighborhood. Found some new plates to add to the collection at a much cheaper price!”

“Very interesting place to visit. It is only opened on Sundays. There is a minimal entrance fee ($3). The parking lot fills up quickly, but there was parking in street as well. It is a fun place to look around and see the diverse inventory. Each vendor rents a space so there was everything from vintage clothes, vintage tools, furniture, antique wool rugs, to old machinery equipment from a factories.”

“Very happy with our purchase which was exactly as described. Pick up, packing and shipping arranged through Nayan at the local UPS store was seamless with package arriving on the opposite coast excellently packed and in perfect condition. We couldn’t be happier and would definitely use this auction house and this shipper again.Nancy S”

“Stratford Antique Center is a big blue box building in case your directions don't get right there ..but you can't miss it once you see it. Lots of vendors with just about everything to choose from. They are all definitely cleaner items inside.Worth a visit to spend some time.”

“I've had the pleasure of recently working with All That Glitters and it's owner. I only have good things to say. From the customer service, to the wide variety of items for sale, ATGA is truly fantastic. It's rare to meet people who have both a deep knowledge of their field AND a genuineness when dealing with customers and people more generally.”

“Never had a problem with Ralston's and have always been treated fairly. Keep in mind that people are always much more inclined to write a review if displeased than if pleased. Thus, for Ralston's to have only ONE negative review out of THOUSANDS of customers is exemplary.”

“Consign your items with no hassle.or shop and get amazing items you can't always find other places. Prices can be a bit much on certain things but that's anywhere in today's world. Jimmy the owner is great! Nancy who works up front is a huge sweetheart and been there forever! Some change in staff over the years that I don't like but it doesn't stop me from wanting to stop in and look around.Worth the time to stop in and have a peek!!!!”

“Prior to entrusting an estate sale to BRG, my wife and I had been customers of their amazing retail showroom in Bridgeport, CT (don’t be fooled by the drab, industrial exterior – inside is a veritable treasure trove). I had considered some other estate sales companies, but none could match the broad capabilities, product knowledge, and professionalism of BRG. Plus Grant, the owner, is an antiques and collectibles savant! His knowledge and passion just blew us away. He’s also assembled a really nice, considerate, and knowledgeable team. I was dreading the day that all our stuff had to be cataloged and removed from the house but, within minutes of meeting the team, I was put at ease. They did an amazing job and, so far, the consignment sales have gone very well (we’re only about half way through). Based on my experience so far, I highly recommend BRG.”

“After driving by on numerous occasions while working, I finally was able to make it here on the weekend and look around a little. There is certainly a lot of trash that is dumpster worthy, but if you look around enough, you might even find items worth buying and taking home with you.In the end, we did find a couple of items. Some stuff was priced a little high, but then again, you aren’t being forced to buy anything. With this type of place, you never know what you might find here… worth looking around.”

“Love this perfect little gift shop. The only local place to buy children’s clothing and baby gifts in the area. It isn’t a thrift store - new and consigned curated gifts. All the profits go to local charities so another reason to pay them a visit.”

“I visited Hansen and Hansen Arms & Antiques for the first time on 12-27-22, met Tom LoPiano, and spent the next hour engaged in an amazing historical tour and discussion. Tom cheerfully and patiently answered all of my questions about antique firearms and shared his deep knowledge of collectible firearms and their history. I learned about regional Connecticut history and sites/museums to see. I left the shop with an armful of historical books (very reasonably priced) for my collection. I will plan to visit (from out-of-state) again and catch up with the H & H folks in the near future at upcoming shows. What a great experience.”

“Went there today. Bought a jockey and a few things. Traveled 2 hours from Long Island. The lady couldn’t be nicer. She recommended a nice diner 5 minutes away which was excellent. We spent the day in the area. Very relaxing. Could not be happier. Sorry don’t remember her name but she was lovely. No pressure. 5 out of 5”

“My wife, daughter, and I have come to this antique store twice and have walked away with great finds each time. The owner is super pleasant and strikes the perfect balance between interaction/explanation of the pieces and allowing us to wonder around and discuss items privately. We will continue to come to this store to pick up unique pieces for our home, both practical and for decor.”
