EDIT: Found out today that Stop and Shop does not offer sick days for Covid. So there are employees working there right now who HAVE Covid that I personally know, and they can get in trouble for calling out. People with Covid at the registers, touching all your food, and it’s cruel besides. Totally inexcusable.
This Stop and Shop just doesn't compare to others in the area. They try so hard to save money that they overwork their employees and still don't have the time or resources they need to provide quality products and services. It's a management issue, because the employees themselves are not an issue. They also throw out tons of food and create a huge amount of waste which I think is quite shameful for a company to allow.

The store is filthy. The seafood area smells bad. Check expiration dates (many expired products). Very small selection of products compared to other local grocery stores, especially for gluten-free. E. Main S&S is much better! Too much riff raff outside always pan handling & wanting money, cigarettes, etc... Avoid this store, drive to Big Y, Market 32, S & S up the hill, or a discount grocer. Its worth it in the end
