I have been going to this nail place for years. Seems like the owners/workers have all turned over. Today was the second time in a month I asked for a gel manicure and pedicure and didn't get it. I'm not sure the woman could speak the language. I wanted gel b/c my son is getting married Saturday at our home! I have loads to do and didn't want them to chip. Both times, I didn't get the color I picked either. It's just crappy and not that great of a job. Very dissapointed.

My first time at the spa and I was pleasantly surprised by the space, the service and cleanliness. I was greeted upon arriving and was immediately put at my chair. They took their time and I felt I was given a pampering service. I would recommend, I felt it better than other local nail salons I have visited since moving to town.

went there for a pedicure, Vanessa cut way too deep and 2 days after I got an infection and decided to call and speak with the owner, she said no refunds no exceptions. terrible business

Gloss may be slightly more expensive than other salons in town. However, as someone who has been to them all, Gloss cannot be beat. If you want to save about $5, you can go to other salons that offer about 1/10 of the colors, lower level customer service, and will tack on about 30 min to your service time.

Gloss is the best nail salon in Torrington, I have tried them all & nothing compares! Gloss has the best customer service, best selection of colors & very reasonable prices :)

I went and got my nails done here and I called the morning after to see when the owner would be available to talk to about getting my nails fixed and 30 seconds into me talking they hung up on me. I paid $60 for a sex of nails with a simple design that I had to change from my original design because the tech wasn't confident in doing what I originally wanted. All of my nails are weird shapes uneven and all of them are different. The color isn't even and to fix pooling of the color the tech overfill my nails and cut me with the file on almost every finger.the simple design of just small dot flowers is sloppy and none of the dots are the same. I spent 2 hours in the chair and had places to be so I couldn't address the issues there but I will definitely be going in to get them fixed and talk to them in person if they think hanging up on people who want their mistakes fixed is professional.Service: Acrylic nails

2 hours and 91 (not including tip) dollars wasted. I asked for a simple gel manicure and pedicure. The owner asked me if I wanted gel for my pedicure I said yes. Apparently that meant I wanted a “jelly” pedicure. Most uncomfortable experience getting my nails done ever. My fingers nails were all one length when I got there. Not anymore, nails are botched. Hopefully I don’t get any infection. Do not go here. Waste.

I do not recommend going there at all. I went for a pedicure but ended up with an infection. I did not have one before going
