Just went in with a question for my "Smart Pay" Application. I was having issues with the "Rewards Feature".
There is two features one to pay through the SmartPay app which draws from either your bank or a debit card AND there is another that just has a rewards card number that they can scan so even if you're paying for cash you still get points for your purchase..
I mainly use cash 90% of the time. But every time the cashier was scanning My rewards card it was saying either invalid card or card not found (can't remember) so basically it wasn't giving me points.
Out of three to four different Cumberland farms locations and probably a total of about 10 employees the young lady at this location on East Main Street in Torrington Connecticut is the only one that had any clue that you are supposed to scan the rewards card PRIOR TO HITTING THE TOTAL BUTTON. So that goes to show that she is good at her job and knowledgeable so they deserve this five-star review.
Not sure what it says about the other locations though ?

i go here all the time before going into work because the one on south main street is sketchy as hell in my opinion (especially at night because i did go there once and a guy stared me down before i even got out of the car and asked if i had any change). this one, the staff is nice and all but they def seem really lazy and always talking to each other even when helping customers. sometimes they even just stand around doing nothing or on their phone. the only one who actually works is the older guy Kevin who works the overnight shift. he’s super nice and friendly! the prices of things are eh, but they do have some deals on drinks!

Cheaper on gas Watertown Ave in Watertown ct is 20 cents off verses 10 cents using cumbys card WORTH IT

Had to make an emergency bathroom break on my way home from dinner last night. I knew Cumberland Farms would be open and has a bathroom (and snacks lol). It was around 10pm and the bathroom was cleaner than I expected. Especially for a gas station bathroom. Grabbed my free reward sodas and some snacks. As usual though, the rewards items were out of stock or almost out of stock. There was one "coke creation" left and the other free soda was for a 20oz or 2L bottle but there were no 2L bottles left. Also the Tylenol I needed was out of stock which is kind of a headache... But otherwise the store is in good shape, cashiers are always friendly and now I know the bathrooms are a safe bet.

There is a rude creepy old man that works there overnight. After purposely taking forever to get to me, he tells me I need an Id as if I’m not visibly older- but hey, no biggie. I have my husband send me the front and back of my license clearly showing current with watermark, he wouldn’t serve me. Went to another gas station relatively close by and had ZERO ISSUES using same photo of ID. Don’t go here, just save yourself the hassles and high prices.

Liz is an excellent manager. All the employees, without exception, are excellent while serving the public. Special thanks to Angel for always smiling and being very pleasant. She is a very hard worker.

Need a new store manager who actually cares about the employees that work for her, not a very nice person. The place is always busy, it's hard to get in and out of there, too bad Migeon Ave Cumberland farms is gone but I would go to Litchfield it's smaller but better

Always friendly staff, clean facilities, freshly brewed coffee! I love their free coffee Friday promotions. A great place to fill up the gas tank, too.
