I experienced a hard drive crash and called Berkshire Bank and asked for paper statements from when I opened the account in july 2020. The website will only allow me to go back to 2022 to print they’re asking for $25 an hour plus a $10 fee per statement! I’m closing this account. This is ridiculous.

Bank itself is fine, employees are nice. But it’s so slow. One just stays in her office and the one that’s behind the teller’s window is overworked. Need more staff. Every bank visit is at least a 20 min thing. Nothing quick!

Berkshire Bank in Tolland, CT has a wonderful staff of kind and helpful people. I’ve always had excellent service in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

This bank has great rates for HELOCs assuming that you are using the money for an appropriate expense!!!Unfortunately, that is the only good thing that I have to say about this bank. I went there looking for a HELOC to use the equity in my house as a down payment on another property. Initially everything was fine. My credit is great, and there were several back and forth dialogues with the person that I was working with at the bank and the underwriter, but then when this information came up about how I wanted to use the funds, my line of credit was denied on face, because this sort of "bridge" loan is not something that the bank offers.My credit now has a hard inquiry on it, and I wasted easily 2+ weeks of time trying to pull documents together because there were several back and forths with the underwriter, all because a simple question was not asked early on in this process.My recommendation is to go somewhere else where there is more knowledgeable staff. Maybe the one in Windham or the one in South Windsor.

I do not recommend this bank AT ALL. Rude customer service and inability to handle the simplest tasks.
