This review is specifically focused on the deli section. I used to be a regular customer, often indulging in sandwiches like Felicia’s cutlet. However, it had been a while since I last ordered a sandwich, so when I recently visited, I was left quite disappointed. On the surface, it appeared that they had modernized their menu and revamped the deli area. However, I noticed that the windows displaying the available meats and hot items were empty, and they no longer had a sandwich list like they used to. I ended up purchasing only one sandwich for my wife, and during my wait, I witnessed about 2 or 3 people coming in, only to turn around and leave upon seeing the empty windows. When I got home, my wife had to discard the sandwich because the meat had an unpleasant slimy texture. I'm uncertain about the reasons behind these changes, but it's clear that the deli has experienced a decline in its quality standards.

They always do a great job here and are very friendly. The cashiers are always attentive and happy to see you.

I am so sad to see one of the best delis we had in the area turn into a quick stop convenience store like 7-11 or Crispy Chicken. Before the newest regime change they had the best prepared foods and grinders for your dollar around. Now with prepackaged sausage and peppers, salads and the rest you will see this place no longer praised by the rest of the town. Bobby, Jeff and the rest of the workers have always done their best to make good food even better. Now they are given premixed junk to slap into a container or on a sandwich. I noticed how gross the sausage and peppers are now and that was my favorite go to until now. We have a store less than 1/4 mile down the street if we want this junk. At least that store sells that junk for a reasonable price.Xtra Mart has been the best deli with the best service at the best price. Now you've lost 2 out of 3 of these qualities. I'm expecting that this new company will just do things as they are used to doing and the 3rd quality will fall off too. I'm sorry to leave such a poor review for a store with such good employees. They deserve better for their efforts.We plenty of other places in town to get grinders and I'm sorry to see that most people will eventually go there instead. I would not be surprised if the help ends up doing the same.

First off, I don't usually review places, but the deli at this Extra Mart deserves to be acknowledged. Back in the day I would buy a grinder from this place and a diet coke and drive to the State Park and have myself a feast.Now a days I'm usually driving with my wife, who is a fried chicken aficionado, and I can't pass this place because they have the best fried chicken around and she know it.Just this week we were in the area and stopped by, Jeff made us two of the best grinders one could buy in the state, and while he was making them Bobby fried up some chicken thighs and drumsticks that were out of this world.I have no idea why this deli doesn't have all 5 stars, unless people don't like great grinders and the best fried chicken available.Not to mention the staff there has been nothing but friendly and helpful, we stop by every time we're in the area and sometimes we 're just in the area because of this place.

One of the last delis of it's times,better prices then Subway and jersey Mike's anywhere!!! You can't beat their prices for their grinders that they make!!! Almost 98% of what they make and sell is homemade and not frozen. Love the food!!!

Started going to this one recently because young stocky guy that works at Village Sunoco questions me to much about my personal life ( he makes me uncomfortable) John and other guys that work there are fine

Food is really good breakfast sandwiches and deli are tasty and reasonable. However their drink and chip prices are like through the roof. It turns a 10 dollar sandwich water and chips. Into $15 somehow

Do not mistake this for a simple gas station. They have a full deli with incredibly tasty meat. Their fried chicken is on par with some of the best and the meals are really good. Great for lunch!

DON'T JUDGE!!! There is a legitimate cook back there making food for lunch that will knock your socks off! Broccoli-rabbe with sausage & garlic; Rice balls with Peas and Ham, Fried Chicken the size of Turkeys, tons of pasta options (Pesto, Mac n Chz, etc.) and packed grinders!! Yeah, its a gas station, but honestly, don't pass up without trying at least one of their homemade specials!!!

The Grinders used to be The Best around! Since changes: sub par rolls, No fresh roasted peppers, Nor red hot cherry peppers, No shredded lettuce (which would coast less), scantily built & COSTS MORE!

Wish I could give them no stars. Bought a car charger and some food. Lady said if there was an issue, all I needed was my receipt. Well, up the road, it didn't work. Returned later, young guys said sorry, can't take returns. I said call the manager. He did. They said ok. He couldn't figure out how to do the return. Handed it back me and said sorry come back when a manager is here. Terrible customer service.
