The pharmacy overcharged me for a product that was supposed to be no charge, according to my health insurance. They charged me $93 and reduced it to $38, but it was supposed to be no charge. I am currently seeking to be reimbursed.

I brought 35mm film to this Walgreens to send it out for development in July 2023. I've always had long waits to get film back, usually closer to a month when two weeks was the advertised timeframe. However, today, November 24th, nearly FIVE MONTHS LATER is the date when I finally got this film back. After inquiring about it for months and being told it was lost, and waiting for phone calls from this location that never came, the film that came back to me wasn't even developed, and it was removed from the roller, so is now likely ruined. What a waste of time.

I've lived in Thomaston for two years and can say this is one of the highlights of the town. They always have one of the biggest assortments of merchandise in the local area and good sales if you pay attention.

I have been having trouble with Walgreens Pharmacy for a while. I had no idea that the pharmacy is closed on the weekends now. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I had Urgentcare send some antibiotics over this morning. I called for the status and the recording said it was ready. I show up and the pharmacy wasn't even open at all today. There was no way that my prescription had been prepared. And there was also no way I was waiting until Monday lunchtime to start the much needed antibiotic. (Walgreens pharmacy isn't even open until 10 am on weekdays). Walgreens should close it's doors. It doesn't do anybody the service of neighborhood drugstore anymore.

The cashier with the long dark hair (I believe her name is Danielle) has got to be one of the most consistently unfriendly people I've ever encountered. She always seems miserable, often complains to other employees right in front of customers, and I once saw her tell another employee "you ring her up, I don't feel like it". Tonight was the last straw - I had to buy something that was 1) About $10 cheaper if ordered online for pickup, and 2) kind of an embarrassing item so I ordered online knowing I could pick it up in a discreet paper bag. She scans my order and YELLS the name of the order loud enough for half the store to hear - then gets fed up when she didn't complete the pickup process correctly & pawns it off on another employee. All the other staff seems friendly, but man, this one........she's just miserable!

This store needs help! Constantly unstocked items for weeks!! Cashier's & assistant managers STILL don't know how to use many of the different features on their system. Most disturbing is their so called assistant management staff. Extremely rude, unpleasant(I've never seen a smile on both women with black hair, one short and one curly and longers, face) and unhelpful to customers and their staff! Two separate occasions I was there in a LONG line, the cashier rang for help, and the manager with longer black hair was playing around with the candy! Unacceptable!

Called in a prescription refill more than 24 hours in advance. I was told it would be ready after 11 am the following day. I arrived well after 11 and it wasn't ready. Their reply was "well, that's an estimate" So I have to return again after work hoping to arrive before they close at 6pm (also closed on weekends). I've been resisting to change pharmacies. I think it is about time to switch. ***UPDATE*** arrived second time at 5:30pm. My prescription was still not ready! They asked me to take a ride while they got it ready. Not a very happy customer. I will be switching to Thomaston Pharmacy

I have always received excellent customer service from both the stores staff, the Pharmacist's, and Pharmacy Staff, even during COVID! Back in 2020 & 2021, when COVID was wrecking havoc on every business, and their employees, many businesses were able to allow their employees to work from home, so they could stay safe. Walgreens had to stay open and their Pharmacist's and Staff couldn't work from home, as they were vital and important especially during COVID! The Pharmacist's workload tripled, due to more prescriptions having to be fill, as more people end up sick with COVID, or even ended up hospitalized, and also needed prescriptions. Within a year and a half Pharmacist's job included having to give COVID vaccinations and then answer everyone's questions about all concerns and side affects from the vaccine! People need to understand how difficult a time COVID was and still is! And instead of complaining, realize theadded responsibility and stress that Pharmacist's were given and as far as I am concerned, I feel that the Pharmacist's at Walgreens Pharmacy did an excellent job handling the added responsibility and stress, , they were never rude, and always kind and with a smile !

I had to worry about running out of life-saving blood thinning medication multiple times due to the negligence of this pharmacy. They only allow 3 days before your next re-fill while Thomaston Pharmacy allows 7. Therefore, if they don't have your prescription in stock, you are at risk of running out completely like I almost did EVERY MONTH for the past 3 months even with my auto-refill on. They are not open on weekends, so you are even more at risk of health complications due to this additional waiting period. Mind you - when I would call to check on the status of my out-of-stock prescription to get an approximate day on when it would come in, I would get a 20-something retail worker on the phone telling me that they "ordered it today" which is a very fishy thing to say if they supposedly ordered it the day before. This pharmacy doesn't care about the health of their customers and can cost someone their life one day.

I called the pharmacy to see if my RX was ready, the very nice person said it was sent to another pharmacy (my usual pharmacy), but since I have COVID-I wanted to use a pharmacy with a drive thru. She was lovely and said the prescription will be ready in about 35 minutes. I waited and drove down only to be told that it would not be ready until tomorrow. I know they are short handed-it is beyond frustrating to be told one thing, only to be told something else when you arrive to pick it up.

Pharmacy is absolute trash. They don’t care about helping you, or providing decent customer service. They will let your prior authorizations fill up & ignore them until the next day. Nothing is handled in an urgent manner. As far as Fed-Ex & regular Walgreens, the woman with brown hair who works up front handling fed-ex has no idea what she’s doing, & literally does not care to even learn or fix things. Won’t help you. She will watch you stand in line for 10 min while she disrupts your concerns to pick up a phone. Also, extremely snobby attitude.

If there was a option to give zero stars I would have picked that.Today was my second surgery in three months and upon picking up my pain meds both times it’s never ready. Very annoying they do not have weekend hours. Even more annoying they don’t open until ten am. When I got vaccinated with a appointment I had to wait hours. I try and give the the benefit of doubt but time after time they disappoint. From here on out it’s Thomaston Pharmacy for me.
