“Car cranked and would not start. Car gave out a code that had to do with the ECM, so I bought one online that stated it was flashed and ready. Unfortunately, it didn't work so I sent the ECM back for a refund. Took the car to Jerry and Jerry was honest with me and told me that there was another procedure that had to be done to program the computer. So Jerry was able to get an ECM and he programmed it. Next thing you know the car successfully turned on and it now runs. Pricing was fair and reasonable, plus Jerry has a good sense of humor. “We could hear that we had worn out brakes, when we brought our car to this company. When we dropped it off, we mentioned that the brake light had been on for a couple days and the ABS light was now on also. They called us back with the results of their inspection of the vehicle, which included checking the brake system, as well as front end components, engine maintenance components, and a complete overall vehicle condition report.
We gave them the Go ahead to replace the brake pads and rotors and to get the brake system back in working order for $1200.00.
When we picked up the car as we left the repair shops parking lot we knew immediately something was wrong. The brake pedal did not feel right and the ABS light came back on?
Spoke to the manager about this problem, he said this issue was not included in the $1200 job. that the additional cost would be $125 an hour to determine the cause of the ABS light which did not include parts or labor to actually repair that.? !
I don’t know if it was because they did not bleed the brake lines, or flush all the fluid out of the system, which normally would be done with this kind of job?
But I feel I should not have to pay even more to find out. So we took the car as is and will find another repair shop to complete the job, perhaps across the street from them?
FOLLOW UP: the business owner “Franky” contacted us after hearing about our disappointment with his business. He was very informative explaining that the brakes are a separate system from the ABS system which was causing the brake light and ABS light to be on even after the brakes had been replaced. He was very courteous and offered to make it right if we brought the vehicle in, which we did and I’m happy to say that we are now very satisfied with all the work that they have done on our car.
To make everyone aware. with the new technology we have on our cars these days it’s not simply one braking system. There are multiple systems that function the brakes. Just because your brake pads and rotors may be worn out doesn’t mean if those parts are replaced that the car will function correctly. It may require more work and money. Thank Franky”

“Outstanding work and very honorable shop!My car sustained a transmission failure with a 2-3 shudder and other issues.I called this shop and Mario gave me a fair price to replace the transmission. He got me in the shop the very next week and had my car back to me within a few days. They did a fantastic job and the new transmission is working perfectly! They even allowed me to keep the old transmission and torque converter. I wanted it so I could pull it apart one day for fun and see what makes these ZF transmissions tick!While we were at it we noticed another issue with my front passenger side axle. I purchased a new axle from FCP Euro and Mario had the axle installed the very next day while I waited in the office working.Mario personally took my car for road tests with one of his techs to ensure everything was operating properly.I have been looking for an honest and fair mechanic for a very long time now.
