“We recently purchased an Industrial Dining Table Set from Get Back Inc. with a burnt top and swing out seats. We couldn't be happier with the look and quality. It's a real conversation piece in our 1800's historical home. Highly recommend!”

“The friendliest service paired with the most incredible collection of estate jewelry. Sandy’s knowledge of all things gems, metals, design and more are a refreshing reminder that you’re in good hands. We love to stop in for special occasions, or just to get lost in all the sparkle. Definitely a must-see.”

“Place is awesome! I rented the speakeasy for my wife’s 30th birthday. It couldn’t have been any better. The food, drinks and staff were outstanding. One of the most unique places around. Definitely return.”

“Awesome place run by an awesome guy. A friend and I made the trip yesterday from the New London area and it was a trek, but well worth it. Steve has great pieces on some really cool and unique pieces. I'd like to meet the person who could leave here empty handed! We'll definitely make another trip out some time soon”

“Well I wish my last name was Vanderbilt right now. Being a historian, I was absolutely drooling in here today. 3 floors worth of museum quality antiquities and I was seriously tempted to just buy everything. And I literally mean everything. The $125,000 painting of George Washington hanging upstairs was very hard to walk away from. So were some of the $15,000 clocks and secretaries. In all seriousness, we were both in complete awe walking through and seeing high level antiquities today. Totally not kid or clutz friendly. A total hidden gem for history nerds though.”

“I went in for the first time today. I fell in love. There are so many collectibles. Marbles, button hooks, glass, China, porcelain, books and so many things you didn’t know you that you needed!”

“Prior to 2006, a piece of furniture that I now own was sold by this store. It had been through a few owners and an estate before I purchased th piece, and I called to get more information for a provenance. The owner could not have been nicer and sent me information and a provenance to go with the early 1700s slant top Boston desk. Only good, reputable dealers keep track of their previously sold inventory and are willing to work with new owners.”

“Very impressive collection of European pieces shown over several well decorated buildings. Owner and wife very friendly. This is a high-end operation, but not stuffy.”

“Bob is great to work with. He is professional, very responsive in communicating, and ‘got it done’ in a most reasonable amount of time, especially during the holidays. My chairs never looked better!”

“Wilfred is the owner of the shop and he is extremely kind. I came in just to wander. Found some pretty neat things. From what I noticed it’s cash only but there is something there for everyone.”

“A few months ago my boyfriend had brought my late grandfather's humidor (wooden, copper lined smokers stand), in horrible condition, to see if anything could be done with it. It had been subjected to the elements and the top warped and split, literally in half. Mr. Carl Manthey was a very honest and told us that he didn't think the original wood could be saved, but he would try and if not, replace it with another piece. Mr. Manthey communicated with us weekly on the progress and sent us pictures of the humidor, through the different steps he was taking to restore it. I don't know how he managed but he saved the top! This man works magic and I HIGHLY recommend.”

“This is late feedback of my experiences with Nick. He is an absolutely awesome guy who is always friendly, honest and very very negotiable on pricing. He will give the absolute best deals on one item or a whole lot! Very knowledgeable and I've gotten many many deals from him over the years. Dont go to an overpriced "Antique" store where you'll pay way more than you should, go to Nick who will give you a more than fair price on the same items. Can't wait to make another trip to see him especially with everyone wanting top dollar prices on things.”

“I love popping by this shop whenever I come to CT to visit family. The selection is always eclectic and the price are fair. I love wandering about the many rooms and seeing the amazing pieces. The owner is a wonderful, warm woman who is knowledgeable about the pieces in her shop and you walk with a little nice story about whatever you buy.”

“Tracey is great! She has gone above and beyond sourcing vintage pieces for my projects from France. You have to check out her collection of antique troughs and planters, I haven't seen another US based dealer with this kind of selection!”

“I walked in this store 23 years ago and never left. I am now the manager. World Class antiques, fair market value and a relationship with knowledgeable dealers is what you should expect!”

“Huge collection of fine antiques, original sculpture, paintings and objets-d'art. Statues for use in a garden, and finely hewn marble busts grace this rich source of fine collectible art pieces. Only drawback is cigarette smoke residue which may have an affect on porous paper and cloth items...”

“While you can't make on site purchases they are having an upcoming auction . I was allowed in to view a couple area's of the items to be auctioned . The gentleman I spoke with was very informative as far as how the auction will be handled . I can't wait to attend or bid online on a couple of pieces I saw !”

“My husband and I came in from NYC in search of an antique farm table. The woman, whom I suppose is the owner, was very friendly and gave suggestions as to where we could find a farm table. And although we did not find a farm table, we did find a cute silk comforter for our three year old!”
