“I keep forgetting to ask his name, but the guy that works mornings has gone above and beyond and has delivered the best product that I have consumed before writing this (so you know I'm honest). I just started trying soju last week, and this is the only place nearby that has it, so I've been popping in a bit before work. This guy wanted to make sure I was enjoying it, and must've felt bad that there wasn't a lot the first day I went in, because next time it was fully stocked AND he special ordered a brand they didn't seem to normally carry in lychee! Very happy with my experience!”

“My wife booked a tasting session with Irene. At the time Irene asked my wife what our preferences were, and my wife mentioned that I was not a fan of ryes, but that I was interested in exploring its possibilities. Irene replied "well then, my goal is to find a rye that he likes." Well she succeeded. Irene introduced us to several barrel pick whiskies that were absolutely incredible, and not just from your standard distilleries. Irene has a passion for whiskey and in bringing out new craft distilleries that are doing some amazing work. She curates the entire process, introducing you to the nose and flavor profiles seamlessly, and is an incredible story teller. She also keeps the whiskey flowing, making sure you are constantly tasting new and interesting products, all inside an hour. I would highly recommend anyone who is a whiskey fan drop by for a tasting, or simply just to shop, all the staff their are very knowledgeable and can make helpful recommendations.”

“This place is awesome, not only the selection is great but the staff and service is wonderful. I had a question about a foreign liquor that I knew it was not going to be available but they did not hesitate to ask if I wanted to order it and they will call me when it arrived. Well, 2 days later I got the call and I was so happy because now I do not have to travel far anymore to find my home-country's alcohol, just drive couple miles and will be there!”
“I'll never forget the time I walked in here and saw a few Heady Topper IPAs in the fridge. I panic purchased everything they had in the cooler, as I've never seen such a great IPA for sale in a store like this. I'll stop in here and there just to keep an eye on what they get, but mostly I'm just grabbing a bottle of red for dinner. The staff is really cool too. Laid back and friendly.”

“PK's is a pretty good liquor store. There must be 4 or 5 liquor stores in the vicinity ( 1 to 2 miles ) of the east side of Norwich. So, what makes PK's different are the suggestions the ladies who work there offer. It's not easy to get suggestions from owners who don't sample their products, which is by no means reason to not patronize those, perhaps you get the same thing every time, perhaps they're friendly with you & you'vebeengoing to them for years. However, sometimes I want to know what's new and whether they have something different I might like & based on my previous purchases.At PK's, the lady knew I liked IPAs, and at the register, she asked if I had seen the new 12 packs from a New York brewery? I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the suggestion. And that's different for East Side liquor stores.”
“I was looking for a liquor store so a few yelp users suggested this place. It was a little hidden and a little hard to find but if you follow the parking lot you'll find it at the end. I was specially looking for a certain beer and when I couldn't find it I almost gave up and walked out. Just then Charlie approached me and asked if he could help me find something. I told him they didn't have what I was looking for. He then walked back with me and helped me find the beer I was looking for in a variety pack, which was actually better. He was so friendly and also carded me and said I looked much younger than my real age so he gets bonus points for that! Glad I didn't give up and will be back just to give Charlie more business.”

“Small Town Country Store. Fresh Sandwiches both breakfast and grinders. Sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll was very good. Grinders look delicious. New England coffee with a couple different flavors. Support your local businesses this 10 times better than any Dunkin Donuts sandwich and coffee.”
“Great prices, one of the only places in the area that closes at 10 on weekdays, they deliver through the Minibar App, and they're right near Foxwoods so it's a good place to stop before you go to the casino”
“Can I just say the people who run this place/work here are literally the nicest people ever? This morning I had to order last minute liquor for Christmas shenanigans. Whoever the lovely woman was working this morning (12/22) was an absolute delight and was such a pleasant interaction start to my day. Thank you for being kind! Beyond that, what a fantastic selection. Best liquor store in Norwich area in my opinion - they carry more of the unique liquors (local and international) that you won't find many other places. Gotta love they sell Irish gins and Fever Tree!”

“I’m not much of a drinker, though I have found a combination of drinks that I like to enjoy. While I’ve only been into a handful of package stores, this one I well laid out, and had quite the selection. There are other stores in town that are great too, but I felt this store was more “thought out” and treated more like a grocery store in its appearance. ??Staff was courteous, and the place was clean. I noticed a “sticky” box of drinks, but ended up having my hands full. I informed the woman at the counter, and offered to bring it to her. She said she would take care of it. Sure enough, as I walked away, she immediately headed to deal with the problem. Small, but a good example of what to expect. ?”
