“After I sent my last set of postcards at the post office in Washington Depot I needed more post card stamps for the next step. This post office was not out of my way and at 10:00am, they're open. Easy! The clerk was helpful, friendly and efficient though he had to go in the back to hunt up some postcard stamps for me. It's a small post office and the only thing missing is a drive up and drop off lane, and an automated postage vending machine. [Review 18410 overall - 76 in Connecticut - 1932 of 2022.]”

So on this #ThankYouThursday I want to give a special "Thank You" shout out to Robin and Alex who have guided me and helped me over the last eight months.They've educated me on the ins and outs of Flat Rate boxes, First Class Shipping and Tracking options, Media Mail and the unbelievably expensive costs to ship things to Canada.This is the only place I use to mail out my cards and the like.So Thank You, Robin and Alex.#ThankYouThursday”

“Edit: after expressing my concern I received a call from the acting postmaster David. He went out of his way to talk to me for 20 minutes on his personal cell phone and made me feel valued and addressed my concerns. Also a big shout out to Ryan the supervisor who has also gone above and beyond just to be pleasant and accommodatingAbsolutely terrible service. I have been hung up on and talked to rudely by both supervisors zack etc. I was told that the mail carrier would get to me when he gets to me. We run a business where they pick up our packages every day and we provided over $40,000 in revenue for the Postal Service last year alone. They could care less and still when I call to have my packages picked up even when I put an online request I end up sitting on hold until I give up or being talked down to. Absolutely a travesty of what the post office once was”

Yes, sometimes the lines are long, especially around holidays and lunch times, but it gives you time to chat to other people waiting in line with you. “I admit, I was terrified when my package from St. Louis to Seattle somehow ended up on the opposite coast in Massachusetts. I was even more upset when I read the reviews for this distribution center. Fortunately for me, they redirected my package to its proper direction in a timely matter. I had no conversation with them, because I didn't need to. They handled it. I appreciate that alot. So, if your package ends up here, give them a lil time and patience. It may arrive later than expected, but it will arrive.”
“I went in to look for service, there were three people before me. Very attentive, optimal and fast service. If you go on pay days you have to wait longer but no more than 20 minutes in line.”
“The counter people and delivery people are super friendly and helpful. There was a period of time a few years ago where I was having constant problems with lost and mis-delivered packages but I haven’t had any problems in over 2 years. I believe whatever the issue was got resolved.”
