Dr. Arnold Cummins’ habitual inability to arrive to work on time while keeping patients waiting with no apparent concern about it is baffling. Additionally, the fact that I wasn’t able to schedule an appointment prior to a week in advance because the doctor does not know his schedule “that far out,” requiring me to call every few days and pester Ashley is ludicrous. He needs better time management and organization. Apparently he answers to no one and has no care for others’ time. The “traffic” excuse is weak. Leave your house earlier! It is not that hard to get to work at 10am, especially when everyone knows there will be “traffic.” When I arrived with my children for our scheduled appts at 10:00 on the dot, we were told the doctor was “stuck in traffic” and would not be there for at least another 30 minutes. At 10:45, we were told he would not be there until 11:30, again citing “traffic.” I am not sure if “traffic” is code for something else, but his tardiness, which occurred at our last appt a year ago and my other children’s appointments, cost my son 2 hours’ pay, an entire day scrambling for a new doctor, and had I been late, I would have still been charged the full rate, not a prorated one. The doctor’s lateness, however, does not afford me a discounted rate for discounted performance. I obviously left and will be taking my business elsewhere. The other staff is friendly, but the doctor is seriously sub par. ??

The doctor was unprofessional and judgemental. If he looks down on Medicaid, why does he work at Walmart? I left 2 stars because some of the staff were helpful.

Went to get my glasses replaced got the great news that I qualified for a free pair under the guarantee much happier here than in previous eye centers but I have had a bad experience before here so always be alertUpdate unfortunately my glasses were falling off my face so I tried fixing them but I couldn’t put the screw back in so today July 28 2022 I went back for this emergency ? and guess what I was immediately called over by a handsome and professional older gentleman that patiently listened to what my problem was which is important he then immediately went to work while I took advantage of being at Walmart because gas ⛽️ is too expensive you know what I mean and when I came back we worked on a small adjustment and bam ? my glasses were Perfect ? for me !!! And guess what when I went to pay for their services he surprised me and said there was zero charge like 0.00 cents thank you Walmart and the eye center I look forward to my next visit ?

Having to experience the ugliest service in this location, I know for sure that all other Walmart optical locations are the same. First of all, in this location the chubby Caucasian who is wearing glasses who I spoke has miserable tone of voice, she turned me down before I could ask any suggestions. Her gesture suggested that I should go somewhere else. On the good note, thankfully I did not spend a dime to this optical location. Folks, I suggest not to waste your time in this location and to all other walmart optical locations.

Dr. Cummins and his staff were excellent! They took the proper COVID precautions by cleaning and sterilizing all their equipment and measured your temperature before entering the office. They were able to see me quickly and Dr. Cummins took the time to perform a thorough eye exam for both contacts and eyeglasses. I was able to order contacts quickly and for a low price.Very highly recommended!

I'm so disappointed with the results of my glasses. Number one, the glasses were not sized correctly to fit my face. The cost is over $400, so I thought they would take extra care in preparing them. Never again. Come on Walmart! Find staff that can really address our optical care needs
