I have lived in Stratford my entire life. Not only have I gone to One Stop when I worked for a plumbing company, I still to this day stop in there as a self employed Plumbing contractor when I’m in a pinch (10 years)
John and his team have always been extremely helpful with me being a plumber himself all these years he knows exactly what I go thru with plumbing service and repair work. I don’t think there has been a time where they didn’t have parts for 50+ year old shower valves…except 1 time and I’ve been here countless times.
The incident where they didn’t have the stem I needed unfortunately but John actually took it completely apart for me, cleaned it up and fully rebuilt it like brand new. Highly recommend this place they are truly one of a kind if you are in need of old stems or cartridges or even just the simple toilet rebuild parts they have it.

I spent the day driving from Fairfield to Bridgeport, then to Norwalk and then up to Stratford....finally got the knowledge/willingness to offer that good advice and parts to go with for what I was looking for from One Stop Supply. It's like the big supply guys dont have time but Eric took such good care of me and guided me through what had to be done and ....I am so very grateful. Also love Snoopy the shop cat .....I'll be dropping off some goodies for Snoopy in a day or two.

Giving this place 2 stars because they DID have the part I needed but my experience here was awful. I walked in and there was an older woman coming downstairs I said hello and she just said hi and stared at me. I asked if I could get help with a part and she pointed downstairs which was helpful. But then I went downstairs and waited for someone to help me. 3 minutes went by and the older woman came down and said she could try to help. I proceeded to tell her that I was looking for a replacement part and showed her the part I had. She grabbed one from the back and then asked me about something else related to this part. I wasn’t sure what she was talking about so I kept asking questions and she got annoyed with me then stormed off while saying “LET ME GO GET SOMEONE ELSE SINCE EVIDENTLY NO ONE BELIEVES A WOMAN”. (For the record I am also a women so that didn’t make sense) Then when she brought back a man, I said FOUR TIMES (emphasis on the FOUR times) that I wanted to let the person behind me go ahead of me because I had a lot of questions and because the person behind me was just picking up. They BOTH ignored me all FOUR time. I turned around to the person behind me and apologized because this bitter older woman refused to help her. Consider getting someone less bitter to work your office or tell this woman simply not to come down and “help” if she can’t be polite.

I was in a jam with a 20+ year old hot water shower valve that no one in the area could figure out or match up. Was sent to Eric from a local ACE store because if anyone would have it on t would be them…Sure enough he was able to match it up and get it within a week!Eric is the man! I will be getting some other parts to tune up this old shower very soon.

Came to this place to get a part, was changed $48.75 by the man behind the counter. The credit card slip he gave just showed that amount, no price before tax nor tax added. Came home and looked up the part number on the web and a aftermarket part like the one he sold me is about $14.00 and a MOEN original part is about $25.00 I remember that Home Depot are about over $30.00 but I like to support small businesses. Like I told the guy at this place when I called, too bad the other 2 complaints about this place were made by Hispanic persons, I’m Hispanic as well… I guess we deserve special treatment. ( He offered a refund after I was done installing the part, but to me the damage is done, too bad).

Don't go to the big box stores for plumbing parts or advice. I had a stuck Moen cartridge. Came here, they new exactly what I needed for replacement and also gave me the best advice for getting the old cartridge out. It took some doing but they gave me several options and explained fully what can happen in different situations so I was prepared. Shower back up and running in 30 min and no need for expensive professional plumbing services. I would recommend this place to anyone that has plumbing needs.

This is a top notch plumbing supply store. The gentleman behind the counter knows his stuff. We stopped in with an old antiquated plumbing faucet and was looking for a replacement. John said we would never find it but then proceeded to do the necessary repairs to fix the piece we brought in. Extremely knowledgeable, the kind of place your dad would have most likely gone to get his plumbing problems taking cared of. The plumbing supply store is on the lower floor, on the first floor they have all types of tiles and other bath supplies. I am so glad I was referred to go here to help with my situation. Went back home and installed the piece he fixed for us and all my problems are resolved and at an economical way. If you have any plumbing problem, just stop by this place and they will be able to take care of you.
