My dog cried and moaned the whole way home. Her sutures were coming undone. I sat in the back with her to keep her still. Got her home and she continued to moan and cry, restless couldn't get comfortable. Picked her up at 5 by 7 she was worse moaning groaning crying... they gave her like 3 tiny pieces of melaxicam and said give her tommorrow.. I asked the girl before I left what if she needs something stronger for pain and she said she won't. WRONG! Took her to emergency vet he said she def needed staples and strong pain meds because her pain was crazy!! 400.00 later. So if you're ok with watching your dog suffer all night and having to go to an emergency vet then this is the place to go... trust me pay that extra money for the better care!! I wish to God I did. My poor girl!!

My sweet boy cuddles on the way home after being neutered. Day 2 update. He's back to his complete self; eating and playing (lightly while he's healing). Best experience at Nutmeg! They treated my baby with love and care. Would highly recommend.

This clinic has a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers who hold twice monthly adoption events.
Many of these volunteers from Stratford Cat Project "foster parent" kitties waiting for forever homes. These volunteers have big hearts, but they cannot adopt every animal.
There is a screening process to prevent adoption for less than noble reasons.

My 1 year old mini aussie was spayed here . They gave me medication for 3 days also included with the fee. She never cried or looked uncomfortable. Definitely recommending this place to friends/family.

I emailed them, they responded within a day. I emailed back and let them know the age of my cat and that I wanted to have him neutered. They put me on the list and they called me and said we have an opening on July 10th, would you like this date? I said yes, and paid for my appointment on the spot. I would advise anyone who loves to save animals to email them and have your cat spayed or neutered at a reasonable price. I send highest compliments out to these people for what they do on a daily basis to help those of us rescue animals and want to do the right thing for a very very reasonable cost!! Don't hesitate to contact this organization if you need a cat or dog spayed or neutered!

My nieces dog needed to be spayed you need to go there very, very early before they're open(8:30am) make sure you're on line!!! Parking is for-the-birds! You get a beeper and you have to wait in your car. Once you're called. You need to come back before 4:30pm to pick up your dog. Make sure before your visit you forward all the dogs paperwork or they'll have you reschedule. Other than all that it was cheap and convenient.

Overall great! Staff courteous. Efficient.
Though to keep us outside waiting in the hot sun with no relief during a heat wave I think was unnecessary. People in the line with several elderly were stressed
Plus, my puppy had her whole backside up to her shoulders her fur buzzed. I think it was way over the top. I saw long haired digs come out when being picked up and not buzzed the whole backside to shoulders. Maybe the person prepping was new, and or just a little heavy handed. All in all, they do a great job of processing and handling so, so many dogs and puppies. Of which I am grateful.

I’m here to tell you that this place is absolutely Wonderful!!
I’ve had two of my pets neutered here and they were taking care of so beautifully,
the love and the care that they give here is second to none!
My 11 year old male bully pit who had underlining liver issues couldn’t have been taken care of better and not only that they trimmed his nails for me!
If you are considering bringing your pet here to be neutered or spayed, I strongly suggest you do so! I Couldn’t thank the staff more!!
