I had transmission work done here multiple times and never got around to leaving a review. The owner is a good guy and does good work. When my transmission blew, I happened to be just down the street and got towed there because it was the closest shop. I’m glad I did!Service: Transmission

Reasonable rates (only $97 per hour!!) and professional. The owner (Jose "Joe" Acevedo) explained everything that was wrong with my car. It's a family owned business and Jose is really great at what he does. He is very busy and very fair with his price. Great work and can easily diagnose your vehicle problem. We are lucky to have such a wonderful business in our neighborhood. Will refer many clients and friends to him.

This guy is a scammer! I walked into his business and handed me a blank piece of paper and asked me to put my name address phone number and sign my name to the bottom. While I was there another person walked in and he told them to do the same thing. He also told me that he would not do anything to my vehicle until he calls me and tells me what could possibly be wrong with it. That was a lie! It ended up that I had to pay him $240.00 and all he did was put transmission fluid in my vehicle, my transmission still is not working. I made the mistake of signing a blank piece of paper he moves fast just like a snake in the grass would. In my opinion I would say don't trust this business. After my experience with Ace transmission I almost believe that the people who have made positive comments we're friends of his. Find a better place to get your work done and good luck! He told me that if I gave him my vehicle I would not have to pay him what I owed him. I wonder if his diagnosis was truth or how many times he could have possibly told others the same thing and grabbed a car cheap with a lie.

It's getting harder and harder to find a good auto mechanic. I am glad I met Joe. Very honest, happy to explain what needs to be done to the car in a way that his customers can understand. Everyone who works there is eager to help.
