Ashley did an amazing job on my cut and color yesterday-she is clearly some kind of wizard! And Shelly did an equally fantastic job on my daughter's hair. Oh yeah, great views of the water and off street parking. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I moved recently to Mystic area and I was fortunate to have a friend recommend Shelly’s salon to me. What a find! She takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking to do with your hair and suggests a reasonable plan. I am thrilled with my color. I’ve never had such shiny, healthy hair. The extra little bonus is Vohana Salon has a beautiful water view! Love this salon.

I have been going to Shelly for years now and I have always been treated as a valued client. Her warmth and humor feels like a visit with a good friend who happens to give excellent haircuts! I highly recommend Shelly and her team as they listen to your needs and will take good care of you!

When salons started opening (with restrictions) after the covid shutdown, my hairdresser, whom I loved, was understandably hesitant to go back to work. I was as desperate as everyone else for a haircut. I called Vohana on a lark and although they were booked solid with regular customers returning, Shelly, the owner, was wonderful and managed to get me scheduled with Maddie. I arrived to find a bright and comfortable shop. Shelly, is warm and welcoming and Maddie is both talented in her craft and very personable. She has been cutting my hair every 4 to six weeks since then and the shop is always fresh, clean and welcoming.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Shelly cut my hair earlier this month and I think it's safe to say that it's one of the best cuts I've ever had. My hair (fine, wavy/frizzy) doesn't usually air dry very nicely, but Shelly has worked some kind of magic. I'm obsessed. She also did my hair for my wedding a few years back and I was thrilled with the result. (We don't live in the area, hence why I've never gotten a cut with her!) Highly, highly recommend.

Brought my daughter in for a fix cut after my failed attempt at her first haircut ever. I loved the ambiance and the staff so much that I ended up getting by my hair cut that day too. highly recommend and will be returning soon for when we need to get our cuts again soon!
