37 S Broad St # 4, PawcatuckWe have been taking our cat Grayleigh here for most of her life, and she is now 22 years old and still fairly healthy. She developed a thyroid condition several years ago, and Dr. Rosenberg worked with us finding the right level of meds. Not all vets are the same. In the past, I took a different cat to a vet who was afraid of cats and wanted to sedate her to examine her and trim her claws! I left! Our Grayleigh is afraid of almost everyone, or at least was until a few years ago. But she took an immediate liking to Dr. Rosenberg, even letting him comb out a nasty mat she would get on her back about every 4-6 months without flinching. By the way he treats animals, it's quite obvious that he loves animals. The staff is all very caring, and I would highly recommend this Vet Clinic.

194 Water St, StoningtonWe love this place! Lots of great menu choices and fabulous service. Beth was our server tonight, and checked in on us frequently with a very friendly manner. Our food was delivered quickly, and everything was great. We had Cod Bites as a table app, pei mussels and fish and chips. We ordered Wendy's ice cream pie and Becky's Apple Crisp. I'd go back just for the apple crisp!! Great spot!

530 Stonington Rd, StoningtonThis is such a cute little coffee shop. We were greeted with a smile when we walked in and our drink orders came out fast. We were looking for a good coffee place and found Macondo on our Map app and read the latest reviews here, and decided to give it a try. My husband ordered a latte which he said was very good. I ordered the Leche de Otoño latte with oat milk, this was AMAZING!! I will forever be thinking and dreaming about this latte. I'm so sad we never went back before heading home because I would have ordered a large. This drink is truly autumn in a cup, forget pumpkin spice (I said what i said!). My oldest had a Berry smoothie which she absolutely loved! We will definitely be back when we are visiting Mystic and the surrounding area.

17 High St, StoningtonStopped by after a morning at the Velvet Mill farmers market and we weren't disappointed. This is a really cute coffee shop that boasts a good menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, creative coffees, and other baked goods. I ordered the pumpkin pie latte, an almond biscotti, and two breakfast sandwiches. Service was good, the latte was great, and the sandwiches were tasty. My dad says the TNT lunch sandwich gets great reviews, we will have to come back for lunch.

523 Taugwonk Rd, StoningtonI was in the area and stopped by to see what Stoningtong Vineyards had to offer and I was not disappointed. Beautiful grounds, a lovely tasting room, and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. I'm not much of a white wine person but I want to be so I asked for a recommendation, and Matthew was very helpful going through the tasting notes of their current selections. I tried the Seaport White and found a delicious and balanced white wine I enjoy! 100% a great experience and I would highly recommend Stonington Vineyards!

Sea View Snack Bar
145 Greenmanville Ave, MysticAbout an hour into our ride from P-town to the Jersey Shore, we realized one last seafood meal in New England was in order. After some quick phone research to find a dog friendly spot, we decided on Sea View Snack Bar in Mystic, CT (and lucky for us, it turned out to be their last day open for the season). We got a lobster roll and a clam strip roll and fries. Both were delicious and the view here was amazing. We ate on picnic tables and got a great family photo! Established in 1976, the Seaview Snack Bar is not to be missed - check them out when they reopen in 2025!

Beer'd always delivers with an exceptional IPA menu, unique seasonal brews and always Midnight Oil... one of the best oatmeal stouts I've had. The culinary scene in coastal Connecticut is incredible, these guys definitely deliver the brews to start off any night or enjoy with the best dinner. (We found that many restaurants in the area serve their offerings). Definitely a must try when in the Stonington / Mystic area! Cheers!

14 Holmes St, MysticI went there a few months ago and got a steak, I want to say it was the strip steak. It was cooked to perfection and the side was perfect as well. I went last night and got the wings, they were supposed to be maple sriracha? I tasted neither. The dip wasn't all that great just overall flat meal, and the wings were rubbery I like them crispy which is my fault I probably should have asked for them crispy? Not terrible but could have been great.
