I bought a beautiful outfit and paid about $750. A while later I saw the same outfit in another store for $600. This left a bad feeling. I don't mind paying a premium to support small local shops but this was such a large difference! So I wrote to Indigo Blue, submitted evidence, and asked if they would do anything for me. So far I have not had the courtesy of a response.

Had a wonderful time supporting this local shop on Mother’s Day this year. My mom and I both found clothes we loved and the shop owner and clerk were so helpful and friendly. They have jewelry, accessories and such a wide variety of styles of clothing and many of the styles travel well and don’t need to be ironed which is always a plus in my book! I have bought dresses to attend weddings as well as casual items in the past. Don’t miss this shop if you’re in the area and looking to support a female owned small business! It’s a gem.

This store is a must if you are in the Stonington area and you're looking for clothing that is unique! Everyone of the staff is knowledgeable, and helpful. I appreciate their honesty about how something looks on me rather than just trying to upsell. It is jam-packed with brands that you won't find anywhere else. Indigo Bleu is my go-to shop for every occasion.

I hate writing bad reviews but very upset with this one. I bought a purse here on August 4th and it was on clearance but a cute purse. I brought it back to the hotel and used it that night for a dinner that was an hour long. During that time all of the black from the purse shredded off. I brought it back the next morning with a receipt and the saleswoman (Marie) could not help me cause the owner was not there. I understood and left the purse, my receipt and explained I was leaving. She called me to tell me the owner would only give my store credit which I couldn’t pick up bc I already left to continue my vacation and they have no website to purchase items. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable. I understand the store can not do returns but as an owner who I believe her name is Nancy. She should try to work it out with the customer and offer some type of usable refund. I have friends that are going to Stonington soon and told them to avoid this store. I was honest and upfront and just wanted to be compensated for a damaged item that was bought. Don’t go here if you anticipate a return.

I frequent this shop, have purchased many pieces of clothing....Always greeted warmly, helped as I needed, but never hovered over.One of my 3 favorite places to shop, Indigo is my go to gem !! With so many ladies apparel shops disappearing, I like to support them, so they will be around for a very long time

Don’t shop here! Was told a dress would be too tight on me and not to bother trying it on! I’m a midsize 8-10. Awful establishment. She said I would have to weigh 100 pounds for it to fit. Don’t subject yourself to that bull. Spend your money elsewhere!

We came into the store and were able to purchase this beautiful dress for my Sister-in-law to wear to our brother's wedding. Both associates were very kind and helpful. We bought it for her without her even being present to try it on and it fit perfectly.

She has a TONNN of really beautiful, unique clothes. The store itself is small and can be claustrophobic; when I was looking at clothes, I felt like I was shoulder-to-shoulder with the only other person who was shopping at the same time. The clothes are striking and really high quality. I splurged on a beautiful duster and I was pleased when she was able to tell me exactly who designed it and where. I'll stop in again if I'm in Stonington in the future.

I love this shop. It's honestly got the most unique clothing options for women of all ages. The shop owner and staff is super helpful and I always find something unexpected and wonderful ! Love their earrings too! So many thoughtfully chosen items and always something new to go and see!
