3 Williams Ave, Mystic“The Hotel Maria is a beautiful hotel right across from the ocean, so it's a super easy walk across the street to a pristine beach! The hotel allows guests to check out really comfortable beach chairs and towels to use for the day, so no need to lug additional beach gear on vacation. The beach did get pretty crowded on weekend days and I think some non-hotel guests were encroaching on the private beach, which is adjacent to a public-access beach. We were there over Labor Day weekend 2023.My family and I stayed in a suite at the back of the hotel with an awesome ocean view from the balcony. We could also see the view of the bay in the other direction. Guest service was excellent and the onsite restaurant was delicious. I liked the guest snack bar, which even included sparkling wine upon request.I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Hotel Maria! As an EV (Tesla) owner, my only complaint is that when the hotel restaurant and parking lot got really crowded on weekend nights, non-EVs often parked in the one spot clearly marked as reserved for EVs—next to the Tesla destination charger (also a great feature of the hotel).I'd recommend that the hotel valets not park non-EVs in this spot (if they're doing that?) and that the hotel invest in at least one more Tesla charger, as I wasn't the only Tesla driver there during my stay. It wasn't too big of an issue, as I was able to charge enough when needed, but always frustrating when non-EVs park where they shouldn't.”

You cannot beat the scenery, from every window and when you step out for a walk along the coast. The details were completely attended to…amazing waterfall shower, delicious chocolate at turn down, a pantry in the hallway filled with snacks and a coffee machine, and delicious food.”

72 N Stonington Rd, Mystic“It’s an awesome old home loaded with antiques and many stories surrounding them.Stayed in the oak room. The jetted tub and working fire place was lovely and relaxing. The bathroom for this room is adjacent to it and has another large garden tub and stand up shower.Being a very old home the floors are creaky , the beds are on the springy side and could use to be replaced but they were fine for a two night stay. The sheets and bedding are like the rest of the place eclectic and homey , after tossing through the pillows I found two with the texture and the fluffiness to my liking. The blankets are not the crisp white bleached sheets you typically see in hotels. I actually liked the fact that there were multiple layers of textured blankets on the bed and it felt comfortable, and more personal. There was a thermostat in the room which was nice, as I like it on the colder side at night.Evan is sweet as pie and his breakfasts were good! It was nice to wake up to the smell of breakfast first thing in the mornings (that I wasn’t cooking)If you do not like dogs this is not the place for you, the owner has one (who was friendly ) guest are also allowed to bring theirs. The house was actually very clean regardless of a dog living there and didn’t smell (that I noticed ).Maximalist is definitely applied to the homes decor style. There are antiques everywhere as well as large beautiful house plants. For the amount of decor it was actually remarkably dust free the owner said he had sone kind of automated dusting whole house unit. (I’ve never heard of such a thing but man, I want one!)If you are a boring beige Karen this is not going to be the place for you!Clearly if your allergic to dogs don’t stay at a dog friendly bnb. But you’d think that would be common sense.”
“We had an amazing stay here! The room was beautiful, and the house with its mermaid decor is magical. The breakfast that Josephine provided was amazing, as well as her recommendations for sight seeing! The location was also perfect, within very close walking distance of shops and restaurants. Overall we loved staying here and will definitely come back!”

10 Wagner Rd, Westerly“The Mrs. and I spent an August week at the Inn. It is a special property that I've seen go through decades of evolution which continues to this day. The new owners have paid a lot of attention to decor, atmosphere and serving guests. The property is charming with outdoor fire pits, Adirondack chairs and hammocks in a variety of quiet places for reading, sunning or anything else.
Our room (in the Barn) was small and suffered from high humidity that was hardly remedied by a portable hall dehumidifier. An AC unit was installed in a hallway window the day before we checked out. I expect it will have a positive influence.
Our smaall room lacked chairs - just two good-sized square cushion seats. The dank smell of moisture was continuous despite a working AC unit. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy. Larger rooms with more ameniites (fire place/balcony, etc.) are available.
Staff around the Inn were all polite and helpful, setting out a reasonable and free continental breakast every moring and answering all varieties of questions. Laid back as much as the Inn is, the staff were stretched between manning the front desk and managing the dining room in the mornings.
Restaurant menu items are varied and well prepared. Delicious fish dishes led to a fine dining experience at reasonable pricing. Servers were very attentive as well.
I had my own transportation but can assure you the private shuttle service from the Inn to the private Shelter Harbor Beach is worth a lot, if that's something you value.
Room rental rates are very competitive among like shore lodging establishments. It's a good choice if you're up for a unique property in a great part of Rhode Island.”
“We stayed here the final night of our trip, thank goodness! The rooms are lovely and the mattresses are amazing! The 1st night we stayed at a Hilton Garden in NJ, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The mattresses were like cardboard. The next 2 nights we stayed in a Holiday Inn in NH. The mattresses were better, but still a disappointment.Grateful to have an awesome night's sleep the final night of our trip, at The Hyatt Place.”

“We stayed at Watch Hill while attending a wedding at Ocean House. Everything was lovely, from start to finish. All the amenities and staff courtesies provided by Ocean House at half the cost - though both are quite pricey. Watch Hill is operated like a set of condo rentals, with little on-site staffing, but there is a small reception area with breakfast and evening snacks which we appreciated, and the Ocean House staff could not have been more accommodating in transporting us between the two properties (just a 2-3 block walk up/down a hill) and attending to our needs.”
“The Ocean View Hotel is a night away worth taken, falling asleep while listening to the waves crashing, late night walk down the ri shore with your soalmate and its not possable with out the wonderful staff keeping a friendly, and safe environment, wheather with you family or your bebo this place is super duper perfecto.”

The only thing the room did not have that I needed was a blow dryer, and the girl at Check in ( Melissa ) was pleasant and helpful…not put out when I asked for one.Great experienceNearby activities: The Windjammer bar is not far from there if you are up for a drink and done dancing…and there is are many great places to eat in town”
“Very nice place with clean rooms and polite staff ready to help and make sure that you have what you need. The room has good bedding and linens and fridge. The pool is clean and a nice size (shaped like a fish!). They make an effort to provide a good experience. It’s nicely situated near Mystic without the higher prices.”

48 Whitehall Ave, Mystic“We always stay here when we go to Foxwoods. Great prices, good breakfast, clean rooms.Convenient to the casino (15 mins), although the road is VERY narrow and sketchy at night! And we're from Maine, so we're used to windy, narrow, dark roads. Driving slow is a must! The hotel is great though, will stay the again next time we're in town this summer. Looking forward to trying the pool and bringing our dog!Noteworthy details: Fitness center is very small and basic, but I always use the treadmill. There's also weights, an ancient chest press *that works*, and a step machine. Only ever seen one other person in there! There's a water cooler and towels too.”

“Great location in the heart of Mystic with a really great value/price. The room was large with two queen sized beds that are comfortable. Two sinks, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Updated TV and very clean. The bathroom needs updating. The toilet seat is loose and the shower doesn't have great pressure, but again it was clean. There is a lot of noise at 3-4 in the morning due to delivery trucks stocking the restaurant connected with the motel. They slam and bang everything! Very upsetting. The room walls are also not sound proof, so you can hear your neighbors coughing and most everything else they do. There also was pot smoking in the hallways... what a stench. Mostly a good experience minus the noise.”

40 Whitehall Ave, Mystic“Descent Hotel. Rooms are suites which is nice if you're staying more than a day. Stovetop plus pots/pans which is a huge money saver, full size frig another plus. Hot breakfast 7 days a week. When you travel it's really nice to have more than a bed. Couch, table and chairs, work desk, separate bedroom, huge closet. It really makes it more comfortable to have amenities. They also have pool, workout room, basketball half court.”

I highly recommend this accommodation.”
“Loved our stay! Walked into town, took about 15 minutes, easy walk or easy drive. BEAUTIFUL views, highly recommend staying up in the mansion. Very antique, don't expect anything modern or fancy, but super clean and cozy.”
