Staying in a mooring here was not cheap but was the most gorgeous harbor and we loved the included launch service, the laundry, the ice cream shop and the restaurant, plus the ability to walk into town or take a 12 minute Uber ride to Mystic Seaport.

Supply and demand. One of the most expensive places to grab a mooring, but the service and facilities are great. Plus you are in Stonington - one of the best places to cruise on the coast of CT. Just wish it was not so expensive to stay on a mooring.

They cancelled on me the day my boat was scheduled to be dropped in the water. It was an issue because the boat was already on its way on a trailer from out of state. They told us they had an emergency and that there was no room to store the boat until it was remedied.

For 2024 transient rental moorings are $100 per night. Launch service is available on their rental moorings but Dodsons require a $2600 fee per season if not on one of their moorings. No dinghy dock, so use the public dock adjacent to the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club.

Dodson Boatyard is a GREAT. I rent a moring ball from them once a week during the summer as part of a large sailing program and enjoy it tremendously.

Wonderful team of dedicated professionals who go out of their way to provide the very best in maintenance and repair to one of the most beautiful fleets of boats/yachts anywhere. Every season I look forward to arriving at Dodson to see familiar folks and an incredibly array of pristine boats. For visiting yachts, the launch service is great and the village is quaint, sleepy, and charming.
