Best experience I had in mystic village, the woman who helped me was so sweet and patient when I asked if I could lift the massive axe. Their selection of nordic country imported knives is the best you’ll find in CT. something for everyone in that place.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this shop. We both got gnomes, which we absolutely love. So many lovely items to look at and prices are very reasonable.

I was shopping in this store with the intention to purchase 3 pairs as dansko clogs ( at 145$ each ) as I do every year on my trip to this store. As with my shoes, there is one shoe on display. I had picked out 2 patterns that I wanted to buy and was looking for a 3rd. My 4 year old was sitting in the stroller next to me ( and i mean just sitting) and i handed her one shoe to hold as i didn't have enough hands. Literally she was sitting in the stroller, with me , not acting any type of way ... when a sales associate came over and asked if i needed help sizing. I responded " thank you, i know which size i just need to pick out a pattern for the 3rd pair" The store associate then leaned over to mg child , snatched the shoe from her lap and said " well I wont be letting her play with this shoe" It was completely uncalled for. I understand not letting a child play with inventory or touch things in the store but she was holding the shoe so i could purchase it. Also, the associate could have asked me to take the shoe from my daughter! I obviously left and will never shop here again! I hope the owners educates their staff some customer service
