This was our go to pharmacy for years. Not anymore. Random closures during the week without notice. Prescriptions not filled or delayed for days. Out of stock with seemingly everything and no notifications. On hold for over an hour if you call. We will be transferring to an independent pharmacy.

This place has gone from bad to worse. Constant delays in filling prescriptions with no notification to patients. When you do ask questions they have a bad attitude. I was just too and I quote “patients keep coming in and yelling at us but we only have three people working”. Ummm if patients are frustrated you have a systemic problem that needs to be resolved. In switching pharmacies. Just awful.

If I could give them ZERO I would. Showed up 655 “were closed” place closes at 7 … okay. Can’t find my prescription I said is this your number? And listed the number of store provided to me by my doctor. She says no it’s not. LOL it was, didn’t even know their own store number. Then proceeds to tell me it’s not ready. But then says can’t find your birthday. Something is not adding up here and it’s the lack of intelligence. Don’t go here if you need your meds, they just want to rush home and get paid to do nothing

Horrible. Understaffed. Random closing without notice Stay away! Surgeon called in pain meds for after surgery. Pharmacy closed early night before. Stopped by before surgery to find sign that pharmacy hold be closed all day Other Walgreens would not fill prescription as controlled substances can n ok t be transferred

I order a banner from this store. I Arrived one day after it was promised to be finished. Following requesting my order. An associate told me the machine has been broke so my order wasn’t fulfilled. I understand things happen. Maybe next time a phone callTo the customer to let them know their order can’t be processed. Or to No receive orders when us happens . This ruined my event set up .

Don’t even try to call in to the pharmacy. It is a mess. They kept hanging up on me after I waited 15 mins + each time I called. Not worth anyone’s time

Here we go again. New Canaan was unable to help me. So I'm in Stamford. I told them the urgency and they said they'd process it tomorrow. I feel like a joke. Still waiting on that call from district manager. Lol I won't hold my breath. Shame on you Walgreens

The pharmacist Xi Wang is the worst. She’s extremely rude & unprofessional & I called her out on it. She intentionally messes around with your prescriptions out of spite to the point that it interferes with your insurance so you have to jump through hoops to correct them with your insurance provider. She also lets your prescriptions sit around for weeks at a time because she’s too lazy to do any work. I complained to the store manager Nina who said she would handle this & I’ll be speaking to the store supervisor Miguel when he makes his visit. In the meantime I’ll be switching to Walgreens in New Canaan because the pharmacist there is very pleasant & professional. I would advise anyone reading this review to do the same & switch to another Walgreens in the area closest to you.

There is rotten people and then there is Xi Wang that puts them to shame.I cannot begin to explain the run around she has given my soon to be wife, tomorrow to be exact.We needed a vacation over ride since we will be out of the country on our honeymoon when her prescription would run out. We received the override from her DOCTOR AND HER INSURANCE, but good ol’ Xi decided to flex her pharmacist muscle and decline to fill the prescription requested by MY WIFES DOCTOR. She was incredibly rude about it and stated she would fill it on the day of our wedding, not sure if you’ve ever planned or attended a wedding Xi but the bride doesn’t really have time to drive around picking stuff up the day of their wedding. We made a complaint with the manager of the store who was nice, but had zero authority to have the prescription filled. We were then told that the prescription would be filled today, but lovely Xi , I’m sure out of spite that we filed a complained CANCELED her prescription. Now my wife had to spend the day getting a hold of her doctor to re write a script, find a pharmacy that has it in stock and then contact her insurance (which is closed) All because Xi has no reason , no consequences, no remorse for causing a customer distress days before her wedding. Customer service has all but disappeared in our society and if you’d like a promise example of how it has gone by the wayside , give Xi a visit at Walgreens . She will remind you that no matter what kind of a day your having she will do whatever it takes to ruin it.

Such a busy location and only 2 employees are working and only checking out the customers, i made online purchase and waited for more than 30 minutes after my arrival for pickup. i picked up the items myself and after a wait asked the cashier if my online order can be processed. i will try to avoid this store.

Horrible. The phone number provided is not a direct number to the stamford, ct pharmacy. You connect with FL customer service. They are useless.

Called the pharmacy to discuss the lack of availability of my kid's medication. Attempted to find out my options and was then made to feel like I was being an inconvenience. And got hung up on before all my questions were answered. Even my wife thought it rude.Update: I had a prescription and had to call in to confirm it was filled. Despite making sure my contact information was updated previously.Corporate needs to add staff in general.Update minth later: just keeps getting worse. Now they won't share stock availability and direct me to have my kids doctor call in to check. This is insulting on to all involved.

I call this location and they always send me to a call center that can not help me. I have a disability and I shouldn't have to go in person just to ask a simple question!! Walgreens use to be a great pharmacy years ago. Recently the service is terrible! I will be leaving Walgreens!

Called & their automated system indicated our new RX would be ready at 1:15 pm. Went at 1:40 pm and they were closed until 2:00 pm ! What is going on ? Went next door to Acme & returned at 2pm. I was told it would be ready shortly. Counter staff was helpful hence3 stars. After leaving with the RX I got a text indicating it was now ready for pickup. Who is their IT leader ???
