Understaffed, no kiosk, but the clerk is fabulous and tried so hard to serve everyone quickly and efficiently, with a smile.
If they had a self-service kiosk it would help this place out SO much.
This woman is fantastic. The five stars is for her. She’s a credit to the USPS. Fire DeJoy. Keep her. She’s a gem.

This Post Office is a bizarre social experiment designed to drive the residents of downtown Stamford insane. I needed to pick something up here - I visited every day for a week. Every day there was nobody working, the door was locked, it was as if it was closed two hours after its listed opening time. On one fateful day, it was open at 2 pm. I stood in the room that allegedly was for talking to a clerk but it was, again, empty, and said "Hello?" Eventually a clerk emerged, frustrated that she had to do her job, and she opted to be genuinely unpleasant and utterly unhelpful at me for no discernible reason. I waited a week for someone to crawl out of a hole and be rude. No idea what is going on here but it sure sucks!

As impolite as I was coming very shortly before closing 5 PM to quickly send something out, the workers here were very professional and polite, getting everything done fast and simple!

I go to this post office frequently and not once have I gone here and had a staff member be nice. Everyone that works here is miserable and rude. Staff can barely say hello to you when you approach the desk, if everyone acted like this at their job we would all be unemployed.

This place is joke… The office supposed to be open at 9:00 am, well I left 9:20 am and it was still CLOSED.
I don’t know what do I enjoy more not be able to go in or the “fast and furious” employees. they probably are going through some sort of training “how to not showed up on time, be slow, rude and hate everyone”.

The postal service just needs to shut down. I show up with a package and a label. I'm told they won't tape the label on for me because I have to purchase the tape they sell. Other package services also sell tape but they never make me purchase the tape, they just put it on there for me. It's always something with the USPS.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the USPS office's remarkable efficiency recently. If you enjoy waiting indefinitely and witnessing a slow-motion ballet of postal employees, this is the place for you! I dropped off a simple item, and time seemed to stand still as it made its way to the counter. The excitement of watching paint dry pales in comparison to the thrill of a visit to this USPS office. A truly unforgettable snail mail experience!

Weird Caribbean woman is not helpful. I had a store prepared return label attached to a box. Because the "ship to address" was above the "ship from address" on the return label she couldn't enter in the details to generate a shipping label. This isnt the first time I've used a return label from this store. Returned something a month ago and a gentleman was competent enough to create the shipping label LOL. It's clear she hates the job. Get a new one that doesn't involve customer interaction.
