This Jefferson hub lacks customer service. Manager was nasty and rude. I would never recommend to friends or family. Don’t bother going here. Better off elsewhere.

System was down trying to pick up my reserved truck. But the employees were nice and helped me out. Truck battery died and had me stranded for an hour. Person who came to fix it was nice. Two stars for the friendly ppl. Poor experience though. This U-Haul location doesn’t have customer parking

We rented a truck from them and they charged us for gas after we returned the uhaul with more gas then what the truck had when we received it. Also, the charged us another fee for "cleaning" because we didn't fold a couple of blankets in the truck. We went back there and showed them the gas gauge etc and they refused to still give us our $ back. Plain and simple they are crooks and liars and charged us double the amount they were suppose to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I visited the store several times for moving supplies before renting a van and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. The pick up and drop off for the van was also seamless and efficient. I would highly recommend this U-Haul location on Jefferson Street.

Typical Uhaul experience. Van was ready when promised. They have plenty of moving essential materials, too (boxes, tape, plastic wrap, etc). Vehicle was well maintained and clean. The location is also easy to enter and leave. I believe they have been at this location for years. I'll rent a Uhaul from here again if I have a need in the Stamford area.

Horrible experience. I rented a 10 foot rental truck and the roof was leaking in three areas so bad, all my moving items got wet. I tried to patch it up all to no avail. When I called the Jefferson Street location they were of no help whatsoever!! They didn’t even apologize for giving me a leaking moving van! The rep said it was strange since they felt it was a newer rental!! It had over 90k miles!!

I rented a truck and the service picking up the truck was fast and good price but the return of the truck was a bit of hassle. The person who takes the rental from you was no where to be found I had to go and find him myselfoutsidethebuildingwhere I found him vaping in one of the trucks. Very disappointing and the lady in the front desk not very helpful

This location is horrible. Frankly the local owner/manager should be embarrassed of the way this location runs. The staff working the morning of our van rental were rude, unhelpful, acting out of spite, and frankly pathetic. It's sad to see other humans hate their existence and job so much that they take it out on paying customers. What is the point of working in customer service if hate your customers? What kind of moving company doesn't have furniture dollys available? Why are there are only 2 for the entire location? Why allow people to reserve dollys if they arent available? Just do yourself a favor and make your move less stressful and look elsewhere

Moving is stressful enough - you are far better off going somewhere else than dealing with this location. What kind of moving company doesn't have furniture dollys available? Why are there are only 2 for the entire location? Why allow people to reserve dollys if they arent available? Just do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The staff here was so rude, so unhelpful and so difficult to deal with that one has to wonder what is the point of working in customer service if you hate your customers?

the front desk advised me the only truck in my size had no working heat (temperature in the 30s that day), and there was no other truck of the size that i ordered. the desk said they would speak to management about a reduction in my rate as a result, but i received no reduction. extremely disappointed.

Nightmare. Wanted a trailer hitch, made an appointment. Got there on time, tech took the keys ready to start the install. We told the manager we were walking to get lunch and would be back in two hours. "OK". Came back two hours later, our car was in the side road, middle of the street, unlocked and running, with no hitch installed. One of the day-laborers walked up, and advised it had been there for a couple of hours. I went inside, the manager apologized that it was not done yet, they "got busy". He had no coherent answer for why the car was in the middle of the street, unlocked and running. "I can fit your install in now, do you have an hour?" You can't create a worse experience, or reaction.
