I can't say enough positive things about The Training Floor. I am an avid equestrian and have always been an active person, but have never found the "right" gym routine / program to keep me engaged and consistent, until I found Ray and Megan at the Training Floor. The small group classes are fun, challenging, and have helped me immensely with my strength, stamina, flexibility, and confidence. Historically, working out outside of the saddle has always been a chore. I now find myself eager and excited to get my workouts in and I see big improvements in my riding as a result (which my horse appreciates). And it's not just the physical results that keep me coming back - the community and environment that Ray and his team have created is amazing. Perfect for anyone who struggles with "gym anxiety"; everyone is incredibly welcoming and supportive and the trainers know every person who steps into the gym by name. I highly recommend The Training Floor to anyone looking to improve their fitness and achieve their goals!

I was looking for somebody in Stamford to train my father and I am so glad that I found Ray at The Training Floor. My father has been working with him for a few months now and already Ray has made a huge difference in the way he feels and moves through intelligent programming that is tailored to what my dad's individual needs and goals are. Exactly what I was hoping for!

I've been coming to The Training Floor for almost two years, and I have achieved my primary goals of getting stronger and integrating regular workouts into my life on an ongoing basis. I love this gym. Ray is a wonderful coach, and he couldn't have a better associate in Meghan, both of them knowledgeable and encouraging. The small group classes allow for individual attention and the workouts are carefully tailored to our strengths and weaknesses. Emphasis is placed on proper form and a careful mix of exercises so that we get a full body workout without hurting ourselves. The atmosphere in the gym encourages great camaraderie, and the time flies. The gym is exceptionally clean, and, like the inside of a ship, everything has its place; and it's incredibly well equipped. I never want to stop coming to The Training Floor. Highly recommend!

My wife has been training at the Training Floor now for 2 years and can't recommend it enough. She loves the consistency of waking up early and seeing a community of friends working out together. The owner and coach are very respectful and push you to get the best workout possible. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been training at TTF for almost 8 months now and it’s the best decision I made. I was looking for a gym that would help motivate me and keep me motivated as I began my fitness journey again. I tried the big box gyms, but they don’t care if you show up. Ray and Megan care about the members and make sure you give it your all. The small group classes are great for a group atmosphere but also provides attention to everyone’s individual goals. Happy to continue my fitness journey here!

The Training Floor is not for the faint of heart or those who want to take cute selfies at the gym - “no struggle no progress”!The schedule is built for you- gives you enough flexibility should you have work/home commitments but also not allowing you to talk yourself out of going.Ray and Megan are amazing coaches, tailoring workouts for each client, yet collectively through strength training and cardio. I joined six months ago after being a member at every gym possible only to really not know what I was capable of until I joined TTF. Best decision ever and definitely recommend if you are in looking for that motivation to be a better version of you.

I found Ray and team on Instagram, after few past injuries I decided to get back on track, when I met him for a personalized interview, already know I was making the right decision. I started in November 2022 with 3 classes per week, eventually I'm getting stronger, now I'm training 4 times a week, my back pain (herniated disk) is under control, I lost 15lbs total and I start noticing my muscles again.The best part is we built a great workout team relationship with the coaches and other clients.THE TRAINNING FLOOR is in a great location, very professional coaches, modern equipment, (upgrading all the time). very convenient schedule.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I found TTF on Instagram while I was prepping for my move to Stamford. I wanted a place that offered workouts that would challenge you in all the right ways - and that was exactly it!I’ve been training with Ray and Meghan for 6 months now, and I can see how much stronger I’ve gotten. They’re very attentive to each individual’s goals and needs, and make sure there’s always progress. The workouts, the community and the atmosphere are all beyond amazing!

I have been a member of The Training Floor for two years now. It is a perfect gym for me because of the focus on small group workouts. The owner, Ray, knows every member of the gym by name, and he teaches some of the classes. He is a great trainer, and also a very thoughtful one. He encourages all of his clients to push ourselves, but he is very conscious of people using proper form and exercising safely. Amazing and fun workouts, good vibes. I highly recommend The Training Floor if you are looking for this kind of personal attention and not just another chain gym!

I found Ray through the community mom’s page. I have been going to the trading floor for close to a year. Ray, and his staff are amazing! You will be held accountable, and see results. I’m happy I made the decision to invest in my health.I feel so much better physically, and mentally.

The Training Floor is more than just a gym, it's truly a community that cares about the people who train there. Ray (the owner) is so knowledgeable, courteous, and supportive. All the other trainers he has working here are kind and tenacious and everyone pushes you to be the best you can be. I would 1200% recommend checking out TTF - I promise you won't regret it!

Ray has been ahead of the curve for years when it comes to having small group fitness classes that focus on total body workouts.
