Great school from my experience! My son loved going to school here from the explorer program all the way to pre-K 4. They have lovely enrichment options like field trips, music and gym. They are welcoming and inclusive to all. The lesson plans are always sent to you as a parent ahead of time and they incorporate family projects into their monthly curriculum. I have been thrilled with them and appreciate that the lunch and snack program is inclusive in the tuition. As a hard working parent, I recognize they are not for profit and run by a board inclusive of parents. These are all benefits to the "everyday" working parent and the reasons why I refer them to my friends. Too often, we are quick to write reviews on negative experiences, myself included. I wanted to take the time to note this positive one for future parents considering applying to this school. Schedule a tour and check them out, you can decide for yourself. I cannot say enough good things, even through the uncertain times of the covid pandemic where everyone was learning to navigate a new path, they communicated upfront and valued parental feedback. Their was notable turnover in staff during that time as with all industries but this has since stabilized. I can honestly say they have always made every effort to accommodate the collective needs of the parents. This speaks volumes as to why my children return year after year.

My daughter has been going to Piper’s Hill for over a year now (explorer and now toddler classroom) and I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! Everyone is so friendly and caring. My daughter has been thriving here and we get lots of updates/pictures on the app they use all day. I have had nothing but good experiences with the administration as well.

I have to say, This has been weighing on me for a long while. The problem is not only the care that the children should be having but the care the staff should also be receiving from the company. This place is losing staff on a daily. The company has lost so many good employees recently and that's because they have been treated very poorly. This is no longer an experience but an exhaustion. Upper staff treat "lesser staff" so poorly they have literally told them how horrible their work is, when these people are the same people who care for your children. They have told staff that their personal life doesn't matter. They have no empathy on single mothers struggling and or trying to help their staff, but yet threaten to fire them being under certain circumstances. Many teachers and or assistance who truly cared for these children are leaving or are now probably gone and now hiring whatever walks in is their best best. I know personally a handful of people that have left not because of the dreaded work they have imposed on them but the treatment they constantly receive from the higher ups. Belittling staff should not be how to speak to staff who do the HARD WORK for your company. This is abuse!!! The owner of this company should be ashamed!!! By its history it surely looks like they really don't care about anything. Ive read reviews and how poorly certain situations were treated that right there should give you an idea of place this is. They obviously only care when they are losing. And in this case theyve lost many, and many good staff. This usually goes to hiring whomever applies and usually people are just going for the job$.Signed, Anonymous or an ex staff or parent.

So, obviously you know there are a handful of daycares in the area to choose from. My family and I interviewed multiple daycares and know that many are great. Well, one of our biggest factors was finding a location with an early drop off option (7 a.m.) since my wife is a teacher and I travel for work, so on those days when I’m gone our daughter would have to be dropped off.I’m sure that like us, you may have been overwhelmed by the price tag of daycare, especially if he or she is your first (just like us). Piper’s Hill really stood out to us after some of our interviews in everything that comes with the price, and for the fact that it was very reasonable in comparison to all of the others in the area. So with price being a factor, we were happy with with the bang we get for the buck.Next inline is the current administration that is there, I know that in time people come and people go, but I hope this team sticks together for a while, during the selection process they really listened to and answered all of our questions. They followed up with us, but were not overbearing. In addition, anytime we have had questions or a minor concern, they took the time to listen to what we had to say and followed through with taking care of our question with action. One instance was simply an outfit getting placed with a different child, but they followed through with emails to the parents and we got the outfit back.Next thing we really liked was the location. They have a really nice facility with great outdoor playground areas for each age group. And they just updated it this year too! The only downside about the location is the proximity to Westhill High School, so from about 7-730 drop offs are a challenge due to traffic, I’m not sure what time the High School gets out, so I can’t tell you when. Now for the most important part (if you made it this far). The teachers that we have had the pleasure to work with in Infant A are fantastic. They really put our minds at ease with the love, attention, affection and care she receives. It’s more than we would ask for, but definitely what we would hope for. They read to hear, they change her diapers regularly (I know that’s expected, but still, that’s not the most fun thing in the world!!), they play with her, they teach her smells, sounds, sights. I mean, they do a REALLY REALLY good job from my experience.I’d have to give Piper’s Hill a 4.5 so I’m going to round up to 5. But I hope they can maintain, and I wish we were staying around so I could give you updates as our daughter advances through the years, but we are relocating for a new job.All the best to you Piper’s Hill. We are going to miss you and your teachers!

Formerly 5star rating, but the quality of the care has dropped dramatically. They prioritize Staff that "check the boxes" over staff that actually cares about the children.

We have two children at Piper's over the last 7 years and have been overall very pleased, especially given this is a true non-profit organization. The price is excellent for the services provided and all our class teachers have seemed to genuinely care for our children. Our children are happy and exposed to diversity that reflects our town. The benefits of diapers, formula, and hot lunch plus two snacks really helps a two-working parent household. The new administration is doing well and has improved the quality of communications.

The Learning Center of Piper's Hill is an amazing place for the children and staff. The children leave the center super excited about such a great fun day they had and the staff is amazing. So attentive and supportive, teachers communicate on everything that occurs during the day with the students. The staff is amazing, absolutely a great place for you to send your children or people to work at.

It’s always a joy going into Pipers hill ! It felt great to find a center that not only respect every COVID restriction but one that tries to find joy around it !!There’s nothing better the hearing how happy the children feel when they’re going to school ! Or the smile in their face when they see their teacher !!There curriculum is advanced, the staff are always professional and the communication between teachers and parents is phenomenal !I highly recommend ❤️

Do not send your child to this daycare. After the management changed the only thing they care about is money. My child was always dirty, tired and miserable. COVID closures handled poorly. Didn't refund anything for the second closure or the deposit. Not responsive when it came to issues. I would constantly have to email with the reminders.

I am very disappointed. Teachers were so careless with my daughter and I even witnessed bulling from a teacher to a little girl in the playground , saw/heard a teacher shhhing the children, it was so bad then my daughter did it to me and my husband during dinner, bruised face no one noticed and the list goes on. Finally I said no more, lost a week a tuition and took my daughter out. Instead of giving me a call to get the belongings back they threw them away.

Both our kids spent 5 years here, and we love the caregivers / teachers, the facility and the warm atmosphere.
