Very good experience and smooth process availing an Auto loan with good rate (about 5% less than the financial agency that was associated with the dealership).Alex Cely, the person I worked with was very helpful and he patiently clarified all my concerns and answered all my questions. He understood my need and provided options that would work best for me.People at Westport branch office are also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Sound FCU!

Sound made both or auto loan and a quickly needed short term loan to pay for an emergency home repair easier than I expected. The home repair application was done over the puffins and we had the money that afternoon to pay a contractor!

I attempted to open a savings account online over a month ago. It said that I would be contacted once I had been approved. A month went by and I had no letter, phone call or email. Nothing. I called to find out what happened and the very helpful girl I spoke to opened my account right there and then, then said that I wouldn't be able to activate the account until I went into the building and made a deposit. Why? I have never heard of such a thing.

Sound Federal Credit union is everything a bank should be. They are professional, kind, and local. Everyone there is so welcoming and they really make you feel like an important person. After setting up an account the branch manager hand wrote a thank you note that I received in the mail that same week. You just don’t get that kind of personal touch when banking with large national banks. Stephen was the best and I was delighted with his low rate he offered me, I also appreciate all the staff and look forward to many years banking with Sound Federal Credit Union.
