I have shopped here maybe 10 times. On all 10 times, the prices advertised on the aisle do not match what you get charged at the register.
The worst one happened today. I was at the store and cherries were on sale at $1.99/pound with a digital coupon. I jumped through all the hoops, got the membership card, stand in line for a while in order to scan the digital coupon, etc. When I went to pay, the coupon did not clip. I was charged full price. I called a manager, who had to cancel my transaction and take me to a special register where he had to scan everything again, and manually enter the price of the cherries, as the coupon was not registering. This took a while. While I was waiting I got a text from my wife asking to buy mayonnaise.
After I was done with the first transaction I went back into the store to get the mayo. I found one with a $2 off with a digital coupon. Once again I waited in line to clip the coupon and went back to the register. Needless to say, the coupon did not clip and I was charged the full price. I called another manager, who told me I probably clipped the coupon wrong (!?!?!). She took my card with her, and after a few minutes came back saying that the coupon was properly clipped, but not to worry, she could fix it. She had to void my transaction, scan everything again and go into employee mode to make a manual $2 adjustment to my order. "There must have been a system issue."
If half the timed I was undercharged and the other half I was overcharged I could buy into the system problem narrative. Given that 100% of the time I get overcharged, I can only conclude this is set up this way.
Do you check your receipt after you pay? Say you bought 20 items, can you really follow up with all the discounts and coupons? Why can't you clip all digital coupons at once? Do you have 20 minutes to spare each shopping trip for a manager to manually adjust prices?

I discovered Stamford ShopRite pharmacy about two years ago while shopping in the store. From the first time I found this the best pharmacy around. The staff is very helpful and professional. They make your visit there very pleasant. They go out of their way to help you. Their prices are very affordable. If one does not have insurance coverage they use the best coupon prices (like Good Rx). Most of the time those prices are better than insurance copayments. I go there regularly to shop in the supermarket and pick up my medications at the same time. I highly recommend this pharmacy to all.

Nice store, and if you do not know where something is, the employees will give you the aisle. And, there is no problem parking.

Lots of fresh food and processed food options. They are light on gluten free prepared foods. My wife got the chilled and prepared chicken, broccoli and rice and it was unseasoned. Easy to get in and out, they are under construction and have moved to mostly self checkout. Their AI camera foe the self checkout flagged the strawberries I had already paid for. They charge 10 cents a bag for paper bags.

Very bad, it is supposed to be open at 10 pm and I arrive at 9 pm and the fishmonger is empty for work reasons. It is supposed to be at customer service until 10 because they don't start working after 10

I am in the store now and watched a mouse crawling from the peppers to the cucumber in produce. Never in my life had I ever seen rodents in any ShopRite
or any Supermarkets! Not even in New York City! By the time I got my phone out to video the incident the mouse went into the cucumber crate and under the cucumbers. I am so disgusted I am afraid to buy anything from the open Olive Bar or items without a container again. I went to the service desk and asked to speak to the store manager and was told the manager is busy so I told her there is mice activity in the produce in the cucumber crate and she did nothing. It's 3pm and surprising to see this in the store! I should have called the health department instead!!

I went to shoprite this morning and a worker watched me. I believe it is racial profiling. She didnt watch anyone else in self checkout. I spend so much money in Shoprite and I am very disappointed in how they made me feel today. Please do better with the black community

Excellent music at all times. I often think about grabbing a chair from the seasonal isle, sitting down in the beer isle, and enjoying the music with their store branded Half Full brew.Oh, and it’s a really good grocery store with literally something for everyone.
