OUCH!! This bank location was never great but since the M&T transformation it has headed into the abyss. I've been banking at this location for over thirty years when I first moved into the Stamford area. Most of my banking these days is done electronically ( Thank God) but for the few times I physically have to go to this branch it is never an EZ transaction. Several times to do a simple cash deposit into my checking account I have waited over 20 plus minutes because they have one or two tellers with a drama cases at the counter. I have left and gone to the High Ridge office were it is taken care of instantaneously like it should have.Today I called and was told that there would be no fee for having a Certified Check drawn because of my accounts status only to have the teller shake me down for $10 bucks...ABC you latter.I am sure there are other Banks out there that have more respect for their customers.

M&T can't even get tax forms right. "Local Bank" = incompetent.

Honestly one of the worst banks, almost an hour to get to a teller, and they are not even trained to help you.

Workers there are not fully trained, I have to call another branch to show them how 2 do it, one associate was able 2 do it, two separate times w no issues, then another associates system didn't work properly. Then the other one got an error, I went to the branch in Newfield n did this transaction w.o issue. Don't waste ur time going here. This brunch sucks they are slow, everything takes forever.

They need more personnel to speed up the wait time, but that's true of almost any bank. However, the tellers and specialists know their business, they are pleasant, and walk fast to get materials needed to complete transactions.

2 drive thru lines and only 1 teller. ?It's like they don't want people to get their banking done. I am probably going to move my money by/before this new merger happens.Service always takes a hit during a transition and it seems like they already were already on the ropes.How else did another bank manage to come in and buy them?

Terry is so rude. Every time I call the branch to ask a question she be so quick to cut me off without even helping. She done it twice.

I Would have gave this branch 0 stars if it was possible. No customer service at all. It is beyond me how businesses can forget that without customers there would be no business. Claudia (manager or supervisor) not very friendly at all. I would not recommend this branch to anyone. If you are looking for great service try the Cos Cob branch or the Belden Ave in Norwalk.
