Don’t let the reviews fool you!!! This is not a good place to sell your jewelry. I Waked in there told the lady I want to sell my 18k gold pendant first thing she said to me was let me see your ID before I can even show her my pendant! I wondered why my id was required before the transaction can even take place? I’m guessing cause I’m black I might be a thief smh and of course I gave her my ID got nothing to hide. She then proceeded to tell me that she wants to pay $225 for 14 grams 18k gold pendant this crooked business was trying to buy my gold at $15 per gram. But I’m the one that needed to show my id before any transaction can take place what a joke of a business I won’t even sell a 10k gold at the rate of $15 per gram if I can give it Zero stars I will

Absolutely the best buy and sell jewelry store I’ve ever been to. Amazing customer service, I was treated very nicely. They have reasonable prices. I was able to sell my old jewelry and got an amazing check. I can’t complain I’m super happy. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking to sell their jewelry or purchasing any jewelry

So I went on Friday to sell 5 grams pure gold bar that day gold was almost $60 per gram so they offer me 235 which is $47 a total rip off . Next day I went to The happy coin in cos cob , Greenwich and got paid $55 per Gram. I would not recommend anyone to sell gold at NY Gold and Diamonds

The experience you will have at NY Gold and Diamond Exchange is unlike any other. When you walk in, William makes you so comfortable that you feel like you have known him for decades. His expertise on jewelry is also second-to-none and he details very intricately all the nitty gritty of the items. He makes it about you and asks all the right questions to make sure that you get everything that best fits you. Even while he is consulting you on what you are looking for, the stories he tells about his life are unbelievable that it could be made into a critically acclaimed film. To know someone who is both very knowledgeable on their work and has such a great personality is so rare. You will not be disappointed!

I never do this but what a great experience I received with William and Angie! I went in with 3 pieces of gold which were gold crowns removed by Dentist Dr. Agnes Herceg and Dr. Jacquelyn McClean. We bonded as they made me feel so welcome! William at no charge polished my wedding band (52 yrs) and my signet ring at no charge. The two were so likeable and pleasant that I wanted to share my experience with the Stamford Community. They are located next to my all time favorite restaurant, Siena. All and all N. Y. Gold and Diamond Exchange will be my go store. I believe in supporting our local business and this one I want to do business with in the future. Joe Nunn
