I would highly recommend M and J Automotive. I had a check engine light issue which caused a failed emission test. Jose explained the issue to me and told me what to do. My car passed emissions. Just left M&J - awesome experience. Had suspension issue on my Benz - Jose diagnosed the problem located the issue and all within 1.5 hrs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

M & J Auto make buying a card almost stressfree. It was fun working with Matt. He found the perfect vehicle for my needs. I brought it in for my first oil change and told them about a slow leak in one of the tires, they fixed it for free! Mary Jo is always ready with a cup of coffee or a kind word to brighten your day. It is a very comfortable place to wait for your vehicle. Nothing worse than a dirty waiting room. M & Js has a Keurig. P.S. They even sell motorcycles!

Very hesitant to write this review. If anything I'm more upset over the lack of communication. Seem like nice guys, and most reviews are positive. Dropped my car off to have brakes bled, usually do this simple work myself but found out online a scan tool was needed. Picked the car up and drove home. Super close to my house, which is very convenient. Was under the car over the weekend after to do some other work, and noticed the rear bleeder screws were never even touched. Brakes can't be bled properly without loosening the bleeder screws. I called on Monday to inquire, the gentleman was pretty defensive and told me they were too rusted, and he didn't want to chance breaking them, and he bled them another way. I would have preferred to be told all this up front when i picked the car up. He was annoyed I questioned whether he did the work requested, which is understandable. Unfortunately there is no other correct way to bleed (that i am or online is aware of) without using the bleeder screws, so i was def fed some false information.

My Fiance and I were in CT visiting family. While in CT my BMW was giving me some trouble. My cousin who lives in CT recommended M&J Automotive. He told us that in this shop the workers are experts with BMW's. That I would not be disappointed. He was right! Took my car in on a Friday. I don't know if they already had the parts my car needed in stock or if their part services are fast. Either way i got my car back the very next day. The best part was the price. Very affordable and quick.

BUYER BEWARE! I hate writing negative reviews, but I have concerns about these guys. I got their mailer with oil change specials. Since I live 2 minutes away, I was hoping they could become my new, much more convenient mechanic. Oil changes were fine, although they noted recommended services that I didn't think were valid. Still, I needed a couple of repairs, so I got estimates from them. Both were absolutely crazy! For instance, they quoted me $700 to replace a thermostat on a VW Touareg. Seemed high to me, called around, and was told the book time was 1.2 hrs, part was $85 and $30 for G13 coolant. I paid $265 with tax. My advice: call around and get a couple of quotes before you let any mechanic make a repair.
