So in December I had a chimney fire..FD shows up ,eversoutce and Hoffman Fuel. Due to the age of my chimney it needed sleeves to be put it . Used space heaters until we were able to get Max the Chimney sweep out to my home which by the way I would give that company 10 stars if I could. So fast forward to HF,the tech comes out toy home recleans the system that they cleaned in March 2023 so twice in one year. They proceed to send me a letter and tell me they won't be delivering oil anymore u til I get a new tank . Really ? Them they send me an email that says it's either the water heater or oil tank ... So I guess you just pick and choose which one is the most expensive them had the nerve to call me and ask when a tech could come out to look at .y system ....never that's when.They are so full of bs,so in March my oil tank was ok 9 months later it's an issue . But Thank God I don't have to deal with them ever again.

Our heater is really old and kind of a punk. As a result we've had to call Hoffman a few times in the past two years. We have always received excellent service and the techs sent out have always been kind, timely and knowledgeable.John was just here about 15 minutes ago and continued this tread, very grateful.(Also Steve on the phone was wonderful as well!)

We have a contract with them. It stated that our price wouldn't exceed $5.70 a gallon. At the time the average price was $3.94 a gallon. Today they filled us up and charged us $5.44 a gallon. The state average is $3.94. They overcharged us to the amount of $328.I could have received a cash delivery for $3.21 a gallon. Over $400 less.We have been with them for close to 15 years. No more. Paying to have our furnace cleaned and serviced won't come near this robbery.They claim if the price goes down they will charge less. What a lie and what a scam.

They called immediately and settle my concerns. Top notch customer service. I would recommend to anyone out there that needs to get a fixed rate on oil. If you have any questions just call them.

A bunch of crooks!! Don't use them at all!! They price gouge like crazy, charging $7 a gallon as form of price protection.
