Just don't do it, find another place to rent from. I reserved a car for a noon pickup because I needed to be somewhere that same evening for an event. Barely one hour before I was supposed to pick up the car, one of their reps called me to say they had no cars available and they "think" they'll have a car for me by 2 or 2:30pm. Obviously I chose a noon pickup for a reason and this was totally ridiculous and unacceptable.The rep who called me (from this specific location, not a corporate rep) was totally uninformative, unapologetic, and unprofessional to top it off. I cancelled my reservation and rented a car last minute through Enterprise up the street with 0 issues and received great service there instead. Please listen to the other reviews, they're real and accurate. Rent somewhere else!

Had horrible experiences with this Hertz location and dealing with the 2 guys who work there. First time, the car I had went from a full tank to a half a tank after driving it for 10 minutes. I had to go return the car at Westchester Airport because they had nothing for me. Second time, they gave me a Tesla that only got to 120 miles in range when the guy told me it got to high 200s. They also constantly tell me that there are no other cars available when they have 50+ that nobody is taking. Don't rent a car from this location. Better off going to the one at Westchester airport.

This is the most frustrating hertz location I have rented from. First we got a car with a hole in the tire. After swapping it out we got a car with an empty tank, which was fine but when I returned the car I got charged for a FULL tank of gas which is not shown in my receipt even. After repeated calls i still haven't received a refund and it's unbelievable that I don't even have a receipt for it so they just sneakily charged me without letting me know for what and now won't fix it.

Trash Hertz location. The two guys at the counter don’t know what to do and they aren’t trained. They constantly call someone to tell them what to do and take the call in the back. Over an hour to get a car for a gold reservation

Nasty, horrible, rude and arrogant lady who is new at the location. She made me hate Hertz so much. How could Hertz hire someone like her! All the cars are high mileage and dirty. Hertz has lost my loyalty.

I am a Presidents Circle member, and a very active renter at this location for years. Recently there has been a high turnover of employees, but the replacements have usually been great...until now. A new lady (Van...?) is rude and unprofessional. "You're lucky you are even getting a car!" The last time I got a high mileage car (50K+), the brakes barely worked, it was not cleaned, and the previous renter's stuff was still in the car. And no PC confirmed upgrades (not STA) since this lady started! I'm sticking with Hertz everywhere else, but I'm dumping this location until she is gone.

Yes the lady is just horrible and unprofessional and the two other guys at the counter really have no clue what they are doing. Also they charge you random and duplicate charges for no reason, hoping you don't catch them I suppose. Car in bad shape basic things out of order and gas was not all the way full upon rental.

Had a horrible experience. We got there and there was only one lady working, they told us they didn’t have a car for us and they “cannot guarantee a car” it had been reserved and pre-paid for 2 weeks ago. The woman at the desk was rude (probably because she was overwhelmed, which we understand) and finally after more than 2 hours they found us a van from New York. The car came dirty and only with half a tank of gas, but we needed to go.They didn’t accommodate us in any way, wanted us to pay more for a smaller car and actually suggested we drive to New Jersey to pick up a van there.

I rent here virtually once a month, and have never had any real issues to speak of. The staff are super kind, and I've always been helped in a pinch if/when necessary. Occasionally, one of their Teslas is lower than 100% charge when picking up, but I don't really care because it doesn't impact my short mileage needs; however, if someone is renting a Tesla and is going to be driving a long distance, I'm sure it might be a little inconvenient. I think this place used to be a little short-staffed, but it doesn't seem like it anymore, so any previous issues with people being present during business hours are probably remedied. I will continue renting here always. Thank you to the staff who work here and make my renting always a pleasant experience!

Rude, condescending and incompetent. My insurance company made a reservation for 12/06/22. Hertz send me a text message, asking me me for start date which I replied to correctly. The rude woman tells me that the reservation is for 12/16. I tell that I confirmed the date on the text message. She wasn't even aware of the text messaging system. I asked what's the point of reserving the cars if you don't actually reserve them. After some back and forth, she CURSED at me, I just hung up and ended up renting from Enterprise, that actually had customer service.

Rented a tesla for 1 day (booked at $80/day, the receipt shows $85/day). I have to charge it to 100%, it takes an hour, plus I drive to return the car, so obviously it won't be at 100% charge. Final bill for 24+5 hrs of rental time (really 4 driving hours used) = $330.00, yes, you read that correctly, $330.00. BUYER BEWARE. The additional charges, fees, and inconvenience is obscene. You would think a two day rate at what was promoted at $80/day would be at most $200... no, $330. I called customer service, and was told that they can't do anything. Lost a customer.
