WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER! I came in excited to get my nails done for graduation. I usually get UV Gel nails with no problems but the lady made it a problem since I got there. The first thing she noticed was that I had small nails. So I told her I wanted to get some tips. But she struggle in the process. For example, when she first put on one of the nails, she realized she did it wrong and just tried to rip it off. It hurt so much! Then she told me I had to get them shot because my nails were short. But as you can see in the pictures, she did not shape them properly. They are thick and don't even look like nails! I tried to tell her to fix it and she blamed it on my "crooked fingers and small nails" and wasn't willing to change them. At the end she tried to make it better by telling me that my nails would be better shaped next time I came in and my natural nails grew in. BUT I know that's not how it works. I went to another salon to get them fixed and they achieved the result I wanted. Look at the last picture. Lastly, I noticed that they are not clean! They use the same tools for all the clients and the station is full of powder! I CAN SAY THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL BE GOING

We were really pleased with our experience here. We made a reservation and were taken immediately. The pedicure area can seat up to 6 people, and it's quiet and clean. The esthetitians were very friendly and all gave great massages and were highly skilled with the pedicures. The $65 lavender and green tea options included a hot stone massage, which was a great surprise. We will definitely be returning.

Just had a dip powder manicure done and my nail tech was great. She was very meticulous and made sure every nail was perfect. I forget her name otherwise I would have mentioned it--I think it was Sonni or something similar (began with an S). She did a wonderful job. Helen is always so nice and always kindly greets everyone who walks in. I've been going here since I was a kid, totally recommend!

Got a powder dip color change, had to file my own nails because they did such a poor job, they charged $64. I asked them to add $14 for tip thinking that was the price for the manicure and the 15mins the massage I asked for. They did not give me a 15 minute massage after charging me for one and said it was because they were closed, but their signs and online said open till 7pm and it was 6:40pm. They also added $16 for the tip - and refused refunding my card for the wrongful charge. The quality of the work is awful, rough texture, uneven shapes, poor color quality. It was a terrible experience and bottom of the barrel manicure. I do not recommend coming here - you’re better off doing your nails yourself which is exactly what I did and got charged $80 for!Service: Manicure

Can't say enough about Great Nails!! the girls are friendly and nice, the place is clean and spacious. Sonia is the one who does my manicures, she is great!!! When I show her a style I want, she does it exactly as the photo. Sonia is absolutely the best!Service: Manicure

This day Shirley did my mani and pedi. She did an excellent job and was very attentive. I do recommend you bringing cash for tipping purposes as it's not an option when using your card. They have an ATM machine, but the fees were a no go for me. Otherwise I would most definitely recommend.

have been a loyal customer of Great Nails for the past 2.5 years (since I moved to Stamford. Most of the manicurists are very nice but since I get gel manicures and I liked the way one particular girl did them, I would always book her. The owner always seemed to be annoyed each time I did this. So, the last time I made an appt. I did not ask for anyone in particular. when I got there (on time) owner starts questioning me as to why I was there and that my usual girl was not available. I explained that I did NOT ask for any one in particular and that I was fine with whomever she wanted to give me...Mind you, this loud discussion was in front of all customers. I was then told to COME BACK in 1/2 hour. I DID NOT......and WILL NOT return to this salon. As a senior, I was embarrassed and humiliated. Owner needs to learn that pleasant customer service is important, and that she is to treat people with the respect that they deserve.

Too expensive and poor service. Do not accept a massage while you are having your nails done-this is supposed to be complimentary (as they told me) but will pressure you to pay for more time. Will not be returning.

Every 2 weeks I get my eyebrows done here and I always get compliments :) These ladies are on point! Love this place!

Great first experience here. I loved how meticulous my nail tech was. Only complaint would be that the polish on my toes turned out sort of bubbly, but you don't notice it unless you're up close. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and the place was clean kept.

This WAS one of my favorite places! The massages are good and the people that work there are wonderful, very attentive. I started to go there prior to COVID, so been going there for some time. However, in most recent time I started to noticed the manager whom is the same lady that answers and book the appointments started to brush people off. I called today and asked for the two ladies I use for gel and the time. They were not available but instead of being nice and working out times, the manager started to talk to me with an attitude, first saying pick one lady, to then ultimately telling me they are both not available. She hanged up on me and told me to come at a time I was still working. I called back and she was super rude and I explained that I work I cannot make that time. She did not like that I was not taking or accepting the time SHE wanted to give me. Not going back, so sad because her workers are lovely.Services: Gel manicure

I absolutely loved getting my nails done here and without a doubt will be coming back. Everyone was friendly, the salon was clean and comfortable. Busy but not overwhelming. They take walk-ins and appointments. I came in for a gel manicure with a semi-complicated design, and they DID NOT disappoint. My end results came out better than what I originally requested. Definitely recommend.
