Use someone else. 30 hours before my confirmed reservation, they called and said my reserved van was no longer available, and they had no other vans or trucks to offer me. They showed no remorse, and they appeared to put in no effort to resolve the issue. I asked if they could call other Enterprise locations. They most they would say is they would call me if something shows up. Their issue ended up being 100% on me to resolve.Update - I supplied the requested info to Christina. She never responded. I repeat...use someone else!

I recently rented a cargo van from Enterprise Truck rental in Stamford, CT, and the staff there was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly and treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The entire team was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my rental experience was smooth and stress-free.The van I rented was in excellent condition and perfect for my needs, and the staff took the time to explain all of the features and answer any questions I had. They even offered helpful tips when returning the van and allowed me to park my car so it would be easy to continue my journey upon returning their truck. In addition, they suggested the best routes to my destination, such as avoiding parkways with a commercial vehicle.Overall, I can't say enough good things about the staff at Enterprise truck rental in Stamford, CT. They truly embody what customer service should be about - professionalism, friendliness, and a genuine desire to help their customers in any way possible. I recommend them to anyone needing a rental vehicle, and I will use their services again. Thank you, Enterprise Stamford team, for a job well done!

The management here belongs in the DMV and is rude. They also seem to have an organizational system for keys that includes throwing them all in a drawer.

The management there will text you to complain about being “dirty and disrespectful.” How rude to treat a paying customer this way Mind you, this is a truck rental location, most ppl using these trucks have small businesses, so for perishable items and things that fall out occasionally. It was not intentional but somehow the “manager” went out of his way to not be helpful but to complain and unprofessionally text these things to a phone. Side note: the key broke off in the ignition and the battery had died. I called and informed, he needed time to check his inventory, even though I called at 7am and let know the key is stuck on the ignition and has been on for 16 hours to avoid it dying again. He needed a few hours at this place of business. So I went home and went to sleep, when I woke up, it was dead again. So I could not drive it to clean it before turning it in, it had to get towed and had a few little leaves and debris. Nothing a little sweep can’t fix. It seems to bother the employees to help out, it’s really like they are the customers and have to make things convenient for them. Some of us use these vans as offices and don’t have the luxury to sit inside an indoor office complaining about customers about doing their job. It’s already hard enough having a small business but then on top of that dealing with insensitive and inconsiderate and selfish ppl makes it so much more difficult. Poor customer service, poor communication skills, and atypical business practices. They will not make you feel like a valued customer even after years of patronage.

Got scammed here.Booked a truck on a Friday and returned it on Saturday 11am by dropping off the key in the lockbox. However they charged me with the full weekend even though the office was open when I returned the car. When I called in to check what happened the lady pretended she lost signal and hung up on me. Unbelievable.

I wish 0 stars was an option. We rented a truck to move out of state and it broke down 2x before even leaving CT. Roadside claims they loan them out to amazon, who beats on the trucks and this is a common issue. Our salesman later claimed that was a lie. After the second breakdown they towed us back and wanted to load our entire house from that truck to another. I begged for them to tow the truck to our new place but they refused. When we got to our new place, so much of our necessary items were broken. Bed frame, babies crib, 90% of our dishes and glasses. We had to go out and buy all new stuff. Not to mention my boyfriends expensive snap on toolbox that wasn’t secured with our bungee cords and is now dented everywhere. Seems like they just threw all our stuff into the new truck as if they were garbage men.Our rental costs were reimbursed but I asked that our hotel room was covered too. The second time the truck broke down was 1am on a freezing cold night and we had no choice but to go to a local hotel and wait for enterprise to open in the morning. The manager could have said that it wouldn’t be refunded but he instead just kept telling me he would contact me. It’s been a month and a half but still no word. I would have been satisfied with the rental costs being reimbursed if we didn’t have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars to replace our stuff. Why should I be out $ for the hotel that I should have never had to stay in as well? The fact that the manager cannot even contact me to tell me it will not be covered infuriates me. Terrible customer service and I will NEVER use enterprise again because of this location.
