If I could giver 0 stars I would, even that would be too much credit. This bank branch is hands down the worst I have ever dealt with in my banking life. I have never had so many problems with this bank before! A few months back I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card and they made me open an entirely new account and had me do all the leg work of calling the 1-800 Citi number MULTIPLE times to have my funds transferred to the new account and have any holds lifted off my account. Next, a few weeks ago I had issues transferring money between my citibank and cash app account. I had made several transfers between the 2 accounts before but for some reason I was getting an error message. Went into the bank and was told by the representative in the branch that "citi does not allow cash app transfers" Just a heads up I have made several transfers between the two before and have made several between the two SINCE getting that incorrect answer from the Citi rep. I guess the answer to give when you don't know the actual answer is "we don't do that". God forbid he should actually have to go an extra few steps and see that there was a hold on my account, that once lifted by the phone reps allowed me to continue my transfers! Today was the last straw..I deposited a check in the ATM and the ATM machine marked my check as unreadable and ended up swallowing my check without crediting my account. I was told by the bank staff that they could not open the ATM and that I would need to call the 1800 staff again to let them know what happened and MAYBE within a week I will see the check deposited in my account. For anyone that has ever tried calling the 1 800 CITI number you know that to speak to an actual human being is near impossible and once you do reach someone it is only after several minutes of clicking between several options. And even then you are usually transferred to 3-4 other people before getting anything done. The only person that is a pleasure to work with in this branch is Zoe. She is always polite and will do what she can to assist you. Everyone else is useless here. The bank managers and always playing and/or talking on their personal cell phones and they WILL NOT go out of their way to assist you. Please trust your money and your time elsewhere because this place is a joke.

This bank is the worst bank ever I’m fighting to get my money that they owe me for almost a month and still haven’t received it and then I go to the tailor and she just sitting back like she not care about my concerns

The new ATMs are terrible. Never has a enough 20s most times I try to use it. And once you use one machine and find out it only has 1 $20 in it you can't use a different machine. I've had more problems with the new machine in the past month than with the old machine in the past decade.

The customer service here is horrible. I opened up a checking account. They were unable to give me a temporary debit card, they tried three times and said they would need to overnight me my debit card. The card never showed up. I even waited three days! I tried contacting the person who helped me open my account but she never got back to me.

Called in advance to ask for urgent help regarding a bank check for a mortgage that I had just found out needed to be re-done. Arrived at 4:01, only to wait for the manager to walk over and tell me they couldn't let me in after 4 PM, oh and correct me, that it was now 4:03. Infuriating.

Unhelpfull unprofessional slow all of them only care about leaving early than help other people who needs it like me i get off from work at 3:30 everyday it takes me 20 minutes to do to the branch and they have the nerves so close the door in my face and they are so lucky they dont work on Saturday !! And dont even think about calling them because they dont give a damn and tranfered you to the call center what is a mess too, forget it dont go to this branch.

I'm not a person to ever write a review but will all the unprofessional actions I've received from Citi Banks Stamford branch. I had to write a review. The worst branch I've ever dealt with. If there was negative stars this branch would certainly receive it!! I've had a business account with Citi Bank for over 3 years in MA they closed all the branches in MA so I've had to with going to ATMs (which is one that 25miles away from Boston) anyways I have been trying to cancel my account for over 2 weeks .. Yes, 2 weeks no one has answered a phone or an email has been returned. Everyone at this branch should be fired! In closing I would NEVER open another account with this bank and would advise everyone not to.

didn't get the service we came for - mortgage pre-approval. only 1 mortgage rep and a very slow one at that. won't come here again.
