Be very careful with this branch. They took $285 out of my account for a safety deposit box I don't have. I've been fighting for 3+ weeks to get my money back. The branch manager Andres hasn't returned my calls and the way they treat a long term customer like me is disgusting.

Awful !!!!!! Chase Banking , not at this branch, but overall is the worst bank to deal with. They treat you terrible, even after you have been in business with them for over 25 years. They do not take that into account at all. They don't have a customer service, dept, in a higher management who can look into things, or see what is going on and get back to you. Everything there is a big secret, with no explanation. Be careful investing in this bank.........read other reviews. I'm happy im not alone in this .

Having banked at Chase for many years, I always find this branch helpful and efficient. Their clientele reflect downtown Stamford -- ranging from polite professionals to the poorly-educated. The personnel here are always efficient, helpful, and professional. Teller service is quick. There are usually several officers on desk duty, there is often a wait - but nothing objectionable. No complaints from me, just praise.

Amazing how state to state, city to city, customer support can be so different! I bank in NYC at One UN Plaza Chase, and what fantastic banking, love everything about that, now... STAMFORD, CT chases... OMG terrible service, no one will ever pick up the phone, no help from an associate, I wonder why service can be so hectic! If you have to bank, to a local Citizen, People's, etc, forget about Chase if you are in CT. Sad experience, EVERY TIME.

Immediately assumed that I did not speak English. Racism is alive and well at this branch. Female Spanish "supervisor" speaks in a condescending tone and is passive aggressive. Why do they allow abusive supervisors? Supervisor was loud in discussing private business to make her presence known. You can over hear account numbers from across the lobby as an example. Avoid this branch at all costs if possible. Especially if you are a minority. Hate on hate crime at its best.

Poorly run, horrible attitude and since Diane is no longer there lots of mistakes are made. I would not recommend this branch, avoid this one. If you are looking for a Stamford Bank go to Bankwell where the Manager Shanelle is a true leader and the bank really cares about you, your financial need and goals and heck you are not just another number.... what 9,125, 176? I was with Chase for over 3 years and I had Chase Premier Plus Checking and Chase Premier Savings. I had no issues with Chase not until back in months ago when I deposited a personal check from another bank for the preparation of purchasing a house. Note that I had never bounced a check. Chase withdrew the fund from the other bank the very next that I deposited the check and waited 5 business days and the deposited fund was still not available. I called Chase central customer service. I was told the branch, Prospect street branch, placed a 10 business days hold on my deposit and I was asked to contact the branch. When I went to the branch, the branch manager told me that I had never established a relationship with the bank to deposit a large check . That was why an extended hold was placed on my deposit. After the deposit was available, I closed both my checking and savings accounts right away.

First time in this Chase and it was a decent experience. The line was long and it took some time but when i finally got to the front, the gentlemen that helped me out was very nice and friendly. Beware of the signs that say they will boot your car after an hour. And yea, it's their parking lot. Why would they allow anyone else not using their services to park there? I have been a customer of this branch for 19 years. The Manager is the best I've ever dealt with and all of the employees go out of their way to help me and my employees. They are consistently outstanding. If you read all the reviews it is about the mis-use of their parking lot. Surely people can't expect Chase Bank to offer a free parking lot to the neighborhood. That is just plain silly. They are a great Bank and that is their business.

This is the best Chase I've ever dealt with in over 10 years. They are efficient and go out of their way to help you. Management starts at the top and the bank manager always has her door open because she is so helpful.

They are amazing and go out of their way to help all the time. I've done business there more then 10 years. I read the reviews about the car boots and that is the towing company not the branch so you can't blame them. They don't do anything if you go to their bank but you can't use them as free parking. That's ridiculous. I am a business and individual client and give them the best review.

Was at the bank today and sat with a non friendly customer service person name "Milky" to have my brother added to the acct. She was moody. I have done many transactions with different banks so I have an idea of how they usually handle certain transactions. Normally when you're sitting down with one of the reps to open or close an account they handle all the transactions for you but Milky was so moody that she didn't feel like getting up to handle funds transfers from an old account to a new account. Instead she told me to get on line and have it done with the teller. Really? Bad customer service. She wasn't pleasant like Frances or the other young lady who speaks Spanish that helped me on a different occasion. So I went up to the teller for the girl to process the transfer that lazy Milky was supposed to do but the teller didn't have access to restricted accts. She asked for help and another guy told me that I needed to see one of the reps to process it, I said I did and she sent me to you guys. The guy said she was supposed to handle it. Then another lady (i think the manager) came to handle the transaction and said something about Milky having to take a call. No, she did not have to take a call when I was sitting with her. She just didn't feel like getting up and doing her job and felt like sending me to wait again for the teller to do it, whom does not have access to process transactions involvinf restricted accounts. Milky shouldn't be dealing with customers. I always go there to deposit business checks but today was for personall and I won't be coming back to this place. Customer service today is nothing compared to TD bank and chase branches in cos cob and Greenwich. Someone needs training.

Are we reviewing the bank or the parking? The bank clearly has signs stating no parking, except for banking. If I'm shopping elsewhere, I'm not banking. I understand the temptation to park, bank and go elsewhere (just for a min) and I have done so myself. But if I get booted for doing so, I own the fact that I screwed up, not the bank. Good people work at this bank and they generally have great customer service (coming from someone who's picky, hence four stars) so if one is dissatisfied with the bank, that's one thing. If dissatisfied with the parking, unless you're banking, it's probably best resist the temptation to park there when not banking. Peace.

One star is generous. I once had a Chase home mortgage in Wash DC. And years later kept personal finances with Chase in LA. Both good experiences, so I was exited to join them again in Stamford especially since I live literally next door to this branch.... Until I went to this location.... Day 1 - waited 30 minutes to meet a lady from a cubicle. She had been talking to a co-worker. I'm sure about something important. There was some online offer about direct deposits that I'd seen that she could/would not print out for me. She said I needed a paper copy and would need to print it myself at home. Annoying, but we all know banks have funny policies. Ok. Day 2 - waited 30 minutes to talk to the same lady. By the time she called me into her cube, she said it was too close to closing time to open a new account and that I should come back earlier the next day. The next day happened to be Saturday, so that was do-able. Day 3 - waited 40 minutes (40 minutes!!!!) while the same lady talked to various co-workers. I tried to talk to a guy in another cube but he said only she could open new accounts. Eventually I headed for the door, and only then did she acknowledge my existence. I chose to leave and bank elsewhere. Hope you're experience is better. Chase is usually (or used to be) a pretty good bank.

I would give this branch zero stars if I could and would like to see everyone who works here FIRED as they are all rude and do not give a darn about their customers. I went there to get a new debit card because mine had some fraud activity and when I went to the counter the girl told me to go to the waiting area and sign my name in in a rude and "I don't have time for this" tone. THEN I waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming over to see me or direct me to go anywhere. Finally one of the workers there told one of the guys in the cubicle to see if he can help me. He was sitting there without a patron at all while I waited 20 mins. When I finally sat down with him he was annoyed that he had to do any work! His name was Jorge. I can't believe the experience I had here. I've been with chase for 10 years now and I've never experience anything quite like this from any other Chase locations. I hope everyone here gets FIRED since they all seem to hate their jobs and customers so bad! I hope the managers of this branch starts hiring better employees because not one of them were remotely polite or cared about serving any customers. They give CHASE a BAD name.
