Long line and only one person working. Took an hour. Wipers didn’t work and it was raining. Trunk wouldn’t open. Key fob didn’t always work. Had to spend TOO MUCH TIME on our vacation going to a different airport to get a functioning vehicle.

Friendly staff. Please go with time as it took over an hour to pick up the vehicle. At the time of my pickup they no longer had my vehicle or similar and got a gas guzzler car.

Note, even though Budget and Avis physically share the same business space, Budget's rental rates are better than Avis!The staff here are great but a district manager needs to increase the fleet available to customers. When you walk-in this establishment it is dim, dreary, smells and looks old. Note, this location needs to be remodeled, immediately.

I found the pricing of the Budget availability in the location more reasonable than the other options. Online reservation was seamless and counter help satisfactory.

We reserved a full size car for 8am pickup at least 1-2 weeks ago. We confirmed it last night and went to pick it up this morning. When we checked in the woman offered us a totally wrecked car, literally the bumper was so crunched the trunk would not close. As we were being helped a man with no reservation waiting in the lobby made a reservation on his phone. When someone returned a car and we asked if we could get that one, she told us no, it couldn’t go to us, it would go to the guy who JUST made a reservation on his phone while standing there. Don’t get me wrong I want him to get where he’s going too but we had a confirmed reservation for 8am pickup and the next available car should have been ours. We made that clear and she finally said ok and gave us the dirty (very dirty) car that had just been returned. They could have at least vacuumed it quickly. Meanwhile she says to another employee quietly “go get one from the back” and he goes to get a nice nissan full-size (the category we reserved and confined) and gives that to the guy behind us while we got a filthy car. Throughout it all she was extremely rude (e.g., I asked her for the total and she said “how am I supposed to know I didn’t memorize it” instead of saying just a second let me check the computer). Shocked and amazed by how unprofessional that entire experience was. I left totally speechless at how a business can operate like that.

Very reasonably priced car rental. It was £124 including insurance and unlimited mileage. It was only two days but was the cheapest in the area. I hired from Friday to Sunday. I requested the smallest class of car and got a Ford Edge which is quite a large car for me but it was very comfortable and drove smoothly, good mileage too. I drove it from Stamford up to Boston and back on less than a tank of gas.

Worst customer service ever. Never go to this place unless you want to be treated rude by the staff and let the repair guy kept talking to you in a bossy and sarcastic way.

Good company. However… Nightmare to return a car here. Barley enough. There should not be a rental car business here. Causes a huge traffic disruption. Waited 30 min just to return the car.

Overall good experience…..had an interior issue noticed hours after I picked up the car. Upon my return staff handled situation quickly and professionally.

Budget Car Rental - across from the Stamford Train Station - is a small location. The staff are kind and accommodating. We arrived a bit early. The staff provided helpful info all along the way. The car was clean and comfortable. We would rent from them again! Thank you.

Enterprise rental in stamford was open but no staff were in their office. That’s right their office was unlocked, lights were on but no staff were present. I waited over an hour to get my rental and then the employee that finally appeared told me I was rude and he had no cars left. I called their toll free number and check vehicle availability and there were plenty of cars of all sizes and models. I gave up called budget and for the same vehicle they were $200 less than the enterprise quote. Never again for enterprise budget is my go to car rental from now on! Enterprise should fire that rep that was so mean and abrasive to me.

don’t rent here. terrible customer service. on hold for over two hours after they mistakenly charged my account 250 two days after i returned the rental. the entire customer service staff is incompetent and their only known language is “please hold”. it’s worthless i rather go to enterprise than “budget” ever again.
