The building is mostly great. Common areas are nice spaces and clean, the elevators are fast, the gym has a great selection of equipment, and all of the appliances are modern and good quality.
Location is also great. Walking distance to dozens of restaurants and other conveniences.
The only real problems are:
the other residents
the extremely thin walls that make the other residents a problem
Very loud in-unit HVAC equipment (though if you like constant white noise this might be a plus)
Recently I was woken up every 30 minutes by different people screaming and cursing at each other in the hall. This was on the second floor, so maybe other floors are better. Also, when riding the elevator, another resident had left a pile of garbage.
Apart from those issues, it's a great building with a great location.

This was my first place of stay in Stamford from 2023-2024. It was great to live in this apartment considering the cleanliness, maintenance, prompt response to any issues. Ashley(Manager) is a wonderful person and she will take care of you in the best most possible way possible. She's understanding, considerate and highly approachable to your requests all the time. I got to give a special shout out to Jason and team(maintenance) who are incredibly professional and excellent in their work. Our parking was an issue in the early days but then navirano and Ashley sorted it out with issue of new passes. I highly recommend this place for your safe stay, close to downtown and to a lively and vibrant neighborhood. Thanks to everyone who has made my stay the happiest at Bedford Hall.

Our management team, Ashley, Julian, and Jason are attentive and have worked with me to resolve any concerns that have arisen with apartment living. Overall, I’ve been very happy to live here!

I have been living in Bedford Hall for almost a year, and I couldn't be happier with my experience here. The building itself is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with excellent amenities. There's everything you need for a comfortable living experience.
However, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service provided by our leasing manager, Ashley. She is incredibly attentive, always responsive to any questions or concerns, and goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are happy.

We’ve lived here for a year and have decided to renew our lease with Bedford. The apartment location is great in downtown, easy to walk to restaurants/shops. The management team, Ashley, Julian and Jason are all very quick to respond. Overall, we are very happy to live here.

June will be my 6th year here and my last. Started out lovely, but the new management team & property manager Ashley have brought the building into a downward spiral. She & management have confirmed they are now running *multiple* Airbnb's through unrented rooms (search on Airbnb for yourself). Expect countless leaks throughout your apartment, as well as the rest of the building (especially if you have a vehicle in the garage.) I've now had a leak in my bedroom roof reappear for the 3rd time in 3 years. Building claims to have a 24/7 emergency number for lockouts, you will reach a voicemail at all hours. Have had a dangerous HVAC leak which management blamed on "candles." (Please check other review below noting the same issue.) Unruly neighbor's on my floor have had the police called on them no less than 3 times (as well as a hoarder causing ridiculous fire hazards.) Management still refuses to do anything regarding the matter, letting it further escalade. If you're reading this, I implore you to explore alternative options as I currently am.

My fiancé and I lived at Bedford Hall for two years, and both agree there are endless great things to say about it. The only reason we decided to leave was moving to a more convenient location for work, and it was a tough choice. The building is cozy, and well-kept, our unit was beautiful and affordable, the staff and maintenance are always kind and quick to help/fix anything if needed, and the property manager (Ashley) is wonderful, responsive, helpful…the list goes on. If you’re in the market for a place in Stamford, 10/10 recommend Bedford Hall. We will truly miss it!

I had a terrible experience with this residential property. They scammed me out of $200 through duplicitous methods during the rental application process.The main applicant had a phone call with them to discuss the circumstances of my application and was actually encouraged to apply. The first applicant met all the income requirements, but then they suddenly required the second applicant to submit an application for "identification purposes." which was another $100.Little did I know, they would then factor in the second applicant's income, which they were fully aware would have deterred us from applying in the first place as I work as a freelancer. This level of unprofessionalism is absolutely unacceptable. Beware of their shady tactics and avoid renting from them at all costs. Now Ashleyh Schwanda refuses to answer our calls. What a scam.

Overall great place to stay. Brian does a great job managing the property. Clean, well built apartments that are ran really well. Fast response on service issues and any other issues.You will need to get your FOB updated once a year, but it usually isn't a problem.Parking is a little tight but there is always a spot.

Bedford Hall is one of the best apartments I have lived in. My one bedroom apartment is spacious, had a large balcony and had newer clean appliances. I only had a few maintenance calls but they were always dealt with quickly and professionally. The apartments are well built, staff is friendly and helpful, and the gym is well equipped and clean. The parking lot is a little small but I have always been able to find a parking space. The grounds are always well kept. In this area Bedford Hall is reasonably priced and has a great location. Yes, you can get more frills if you pay more at a larger / more modern complex - if you are looking for saunas and 24 hour service this isn't the building for you. I have recommended the building to many friends and I will continue to do so.
