“Finding a garage in Fairfield county to work on BMW seems like everywhere is trying to price gouge. I got quotes from a shop closer to my hometown and it was ridiculous, so I went shopping around, and K & B came highly recommended. I called and let them know I’d bring my own suspension parts that needed to be assembled and they were happy to help me out with the repair. They scheduled me in with no problem and completed the repair while I stayed near by. K was super accommodating and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely going back here for any more repairs and mods.

“It's the customer service that distinguishes Pray from any other mechanic/body shop I have ever visited. It's Ritz-Carlton level service. They were able to see my car quickly and and when a part I had provided didn't match perfectly, someone came across the street to the coffee shop I was waiting at to show me a picture to see if I wanted to continue with the job. They were very thorough in giving me my options, and when I decided not to continue with the job because of a defect in the part I had provided, there was no charge even though they had spent some time working on the car. I later retuned with a non-defective part for them to install and once again they were able to get me in quickly and competed the job perfectly, once again with incredible customer service. Pray was a class act all the way and I will definitely be using them for any body work I need in the future.”
“Back in April 2023 my car had a radiator leak from work. When I left work in the late evening, I had no antifreeze left in the car and it started to overheat. I was stranded on I95 south by exit 6 for the entire night waiting for a tow-truck to arrive and tow my car to Grand Prix. Finally in the am, a tow- truck arrived and brought to Grand Prix. Roger is very humble and fixed my car within a day. Very satisfied with his work and charged a fair price to do the work. Would definitely go back to him again. Thank you kindly.”

“I purchased an F250 from Stamford ford and the entire process was absolutely painless. My salesman Michael was fantastic he was friendly, knowledgeable and at no time did I feel pressured. I test drove a truck, we agreed upon a price and then the team went to work. In the time it took me to go to a Dr appointment, stop by the bank to pick up a check and grab a slice of pizza they were ready for me to pick up the truck. We took a brief tour of the impressive service dept, filled out all the paperwork and I was done. They then showed me all the technology on the truck and I drove off with a big smile.
All this and I was only buying a used truck!!!

“Passing through on a trip and broke down in a place we weren’t familiar with. We chose this place based on their reviews and have never been treated better by a business! Not only did they work all morning to figure out what the issue was but they made sure we were safe and taken care of during the wait. Sylvia at the desk was an absolute saint! Just when we thought we couldn’t be more impressed, Sylvia reached out to make sure that we were ok the next day. Words would never be enough to show how thankful we are for this garage and their kindness. If you are in need of any car repairs this place is 100% the best in the area, maybe even the best in the state!”
“My wife went in a couple of years ago for snow tires, and a general checkout of her car, as our mechanic of many years retired. She had an extremely positive experience- Tony is always direct and honest with us. Always nice, and with a dry sense of humor. I've had several occasions, where thought I've felt or heard issues with the cars- and unlike so many other mechanics, Tony will politely explain the problem (or lack thereof!) and whether or not the vehicle even needs anything. We have both subsequently been to Shippan a number of times, for various amounts of work, including a clutch on my wife's Subaru, and Tony has been consistent with quality of workmanship. No job too big or too small. For me, the most emblematic occurrence of why I will continue to use Shippan's services, was one time, the tire prices weren't a mega value (on the specific tire I wanted), but even though they were not particularly overpriced, Tony still said something along the lines of "I probably can't get the best price on these." I gladly paid the minimal difference from some chain business, where I'd have been dealing with a new person, each time I called. Another huge good sign (at least for me) is beings told that I don't need to get (whatever service) done yet, despite it being lucrative for the business. Just simple integrity-and not treating customers like an annoyance. We look forward to continue having our cars serviced at Shippan! At least as much as one can look forward to servicing vehicles at all. To Tony, and the team at Shippan- Keep up the great work! I highly recommend giving them a try, if you need a new mechanic.”

“I have been bringing my foreign and domestic cars to Joe and Mario D'Agostino's place for 30+ years and only have great things to say about them. As stated in another review Joe is extremely well-trained and skilled at diagnostics and auto repair. Although they are foremost BMW and Audi experts, they can easily handle any make/model. They love working on Italian cars, btw. Agree that they are a hidden gem for auto repair! They are very, very trustworthy; repair estimates and costs are always very fair, if not under the market. I love these guys and recommend them highly. We own 5 cars and they service all of them (Toyota, Honda (2), Fiat, Subaru...Volvo and Ford in the past). You will not be disappointed. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible!”
“This is the best place to get your emissions done. The staff is so kind and truly makes such an effort to help you. This is the only place I’d recommend for emissions or getting your vehicle repaired, don’t waste your time going anywhere else. This is most honest and stand up location in Fairfield county. They take pride in their work and are so honest with their customers. I had issues at a different emission center - these guys were so kind and professional. Can’t wait to come back, but hopefully not too soon ;)”

“I have to say, make the trip, I bent my rim trying to get to these guys. Dumb idea to bend the rim but a brilliant idea coming to C&J. We were about an hour into a four-hour trip to Boston. A huge pothole on i95 tire boom! The tire starts wobbling and then I get a message on the dashboard board the tire pressure is lowering. So I get off 95 and pull into Subaru they can help me but I'd have to wait a few hours. They recommend C&Js. My run flat got me there. I was in and out in 17 minutes tire mounted and balanced right out front. I felt like I was in the Indy 500 pitstop. The guy who helped me don't have his name was super cool and funny. Made it to my son's game 40 minutes early. About the best experience you can have after getting a flat. $150 total. I tipped the guy but still wish I had given him more. Highest recommendation for these guys.”
