There's about an 80-90% chance they won't have your subscription ready and they'll ask you to drive back

This locations pharmacy is an absolute joke. I can NEVER get my scripts refilled because they NEVER send the requests to my doctor. I have to ask my doctors office to contact THEM for them to send the damn request. This is not the first time this has happened. I’m switching to Walgreens at this point.

Wife and I love this pharmacy. We are summer birds in stafford springs from Tucson arizona. I don’t get the complaints. I call and they help me out with my prescription that was filled in Tucson. Ready in 20 minutes. I can see if they don’t have it in stock. That goes by peoples history. Want a junk pharmacy?? Go to Tucson. One worker in store. And pharmacy busy as hell and so slow. Walgreens same.

This pharmacy gets worse everytime I go. I was told to pick up a prescription at 1:30 today; I show up and the pharmacy has gone to lunch until 2. Plus prescriptions are NEVER ready on time. How long does it really take to count to 90? Time to find a new pharmacy I guess.

I have never in my life been to a pharmacy this horrible in my life. I understand that there are staffing shortages and that covid happened (even though it’s now July 2022) but the staff members are rude and they never get medications filled in a timely manner. They also never have enough medications more then half of the time to fill your script entirely or don’t have the medication in stock at all.I work in the medical field and have had numerous patients call and complain about this pharmacy as well and have consistent problems with it. I will never return to this pharmacy and do not recommend it to anyone who lives in the Stafford area honestly they should just close it. They barely have anything else in stock either.

Can never seem to bill my prescriptions correctly even after constant reminders. They don’t even check to see if you have insurance if the prescription is a few hundred dollars. If they just did their job they would save everyone’s time but they are incapable.

Do not patronize this place if you are used to decent customer service. I was told because of insurance that I must utilize CVS and called to have my prescription changed from the Big Y to CVS. I called to transfer my prescriptions and was asked the address of Big Y (it's 1/4 of a mile down the street on the same side of the road). I was told they would call me back that day, no call back for 24 hours. I finally went to pick up my meds before having to leave for a five day trip and was notified they were out of stock. They called the CVS in Enfield and expedited and said one hour. Two hours later, finally ready. By the way, this was a common blood pressure med, not some fancy pain med. They have no idea of customer service and no management.

Final straw here. Online hours say the store opens at 8. The sign in the window says the store opens at 8, yet I arrive at 8:15 and they are still locked up and the parking lot is empty. This isn't even the first time this has happened. I've also had issues with the store being open on time but nobody at the register until someone comes tooling up from the back, 15-20 minutes after opening, with their drawer. This is a very frustrating way to run a business. Also, my covid booster? The woman had me sitting and waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time even though the pharmacy was dead. Then she attempted to put a band-aid on me that she had taken from her overcoat, which had already been removed from the outside wrapper. Ick. Needless to say, I opted to bleed all over my clothes rather than have that put on my skin. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary!

10:00 am COVID test appointment. We're told that the guy who does that, cause apparently there's only one who can, isn't here yet."But he should be in soon."When?:"I don't know but soon. Maybe you can call back in 30 minutes to see if he's here"We didn't get our test until 10:25 a.m.Not a good look for management.

Honestly the worst CVS experience we’ve ever had to endure. I preregistered my husband for a flu shot and COVID booster. We arrived on time for his appointment, and nobody was in line yet we waited 35 minutes. When my husband asked if he could get his flu shot, she said no, you have to sign up for it. What??? I completed the registration online at the same time and in the same form as the booster. He was in no mood to argue, and he knew he could go to Charlton, Sturbridge, or almost anywhere else and get it as a walk-in.Meanwhile, I decided to shop the 50% off sale. I selected several items and brought them to the register . A customer waved me on to go in front of her in line. Apparently, she had waited almost two hours to get pictures printed and was still waiting for her salesperson to return. The salesperson was struggling to ring the items and told me my biggest find was not on sale, yet it was directly under the 50% off sign in an aisle that was filled with sale items. At this point we just wanted to cut our loses and get out of this CVS. The best part was after ringing up around ten items, the cashier asked me if I wanted a bag?In CVS’s defense, we’ve never been treated like this any other CVS and we’ve been to many, many stores.By the way, the one star was for the sweet customer that allowed me to move in front of as she continued to wait.

I've never had an issue with this pharmacy up until about 6 months ago. I'm not sure what happened, but the pharmacy doctor that was there for as long as I can remember seems to be no longer around. The new Dr. doesn't seem to be able to handle running a pharmacy and has absolutely zero people skills. On three occasions I have tried to fill a perscription that my 6mo. old son desperately needs. Each time, they did not fill it, or it took 4 days to fill. When I asked (politely) if they stocked the medication and why it took so long to fill, I got a blank stare and a shrug from the pharmacist. The 2nd time I was told "it is too early", so I had the dr. send a new script. Still didn't get filled.Only on this thrd (and last) time were we finally told it was an insurance issue. One 5 minute call to the ins. and dr for a PA and it was handeled. Something that affected my sons welbeing and health repeatedly could have been resolved the first time it happened with a 15 second phone call from CVS. When I brought up my complaint with the pharmacy dr. all I got was a shrug. No acknowledgement that there was a problem, and not a hint of an appology. We have moved all of our scripts to Walgreens and will no longer be using CVS. I hope the previous pharmacist retired and moved on and didn't leave due to health issues.

Actually told us that a Massachusetts ID is invalid in Connecticut, and couldn’t communicate a solid explanation as to why she couldn’t sell us an 18+ product (mind you and 18 year old was purchasing the product- which was just allergy medicine)

I stopped in to pickup a prescription that was forwarded from the Auburn CVS. I was told that the prescription was not put through and that it would be 20 minutes I sighed. I was then treated incredibly rude by the person at the CVS drop off. I was mildly annoyed and did not utter a word, but was made to feel like I was causing a major disturbance. I was treated with this contempt when I returned 20 minutes later as well. Customer service is awful. Each person I dealt with made you feel like you were inconveniencing them. Find another pharmacy.
