As the barrells had separated from the block they were one of a very few shops in the U.S. who could perform the repair, according to SKB.They did a great job in a reasonable time frame at a very reasonable cost.This is a very professional, expert operation.”

“I've been been visiting Hansen & Hansen since I was a kid, and was always fascinated by the museum-like environment, with archaic weapons and militaria in every nook and cranny. I still enjoy visiting just to poke around. Some of the Google reviewers seem thrown by the idiosyncratic nature of the place, but that's what makes it interesting. On a business note, I have bought four guns from Hansen & Hansen the over the years, and had vintage guns appraised there. In doing business with them, I found that both Jay and Tom are honest merchants (some other appraisers out there are not!). They always have an eclectic stock of guns at fair prices, and an ever-changing assortment of ammunition for some of my odd calibers. It's an old school gun store, and that's what I like about it.”

I only shop at places with exceptional customer service and M2 fits the bill to a tee.As a relatively new gun owner, it can feel anxious walking into a shop like this but they make you feel right at home, and they take their time explaining options, and educating on why certain guns might be a better fit than others, etc.A few other places I’ve gone in the past weren’t as informative, or you could tell they were just there to make a sale, and clock out.Will definitely be back and definitely check them out if you’re in the Norwalk area.
