I gotta be honest I've done business with Southington Security for years. They have changed my locks and added dead bolts and added extra security to the doors etc... But what really pissed me off was when I moved still in CT mind you and approximately 20 mins from Southington so I call them to set up an appointment and was told just to come to my house would be $150 and with just some basic lock changes and re keying would be over $1000. I'm sorry to say you've lost my business for being greedy. I bought the locks I wanted got them keyed alike and hired a handyman to put them in for a fraction of what Southington Security was charging.

We are so grateful for the service!!!! We got to the store 20 minutes before closing and they were able to help us with out RV key ! I will recommend this place to anyone!

An absolutely fantastic company. A main door lock broke at my place of work and they made sure to get to me today and communicate with me during the day. They came out and did a wonderful, very pleasant and professional job getting me in shape to lock the place up before closing. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend!

One of the most professional businesses I've dealt with in a long time. Diane set up our appointment and could not have been more helpful. She has the most enthusiastic voice and genuinely cares. I highly recommend Southington Security to anyone needing a locksmith. Gil came out to put the new locks in and also could not have been and more caring and professional. Gil Even gave me a history lesson in the first locks that were created! Overall a very pleasant experience and reasonably priced. The total was exactly what they quoted us on the phone. Went there looking for something specific and even spoon fed them the part numbers, Web address as to where to buy what I needed and said call me .... HUGE MISTAKE...No follow~up calls were made back to me and they just dropped the ball ~ too bad as the owner appeared to be a nice guy but the lady he pawned this order off to just ended up blowing me off...I did my order on Amazon even though I hat ordering there... No Personalized service from Amazon but then none here either... You Lost my Business...REPLY TO REPLY:I DID NOT ORDER WHAT I WANTED UNTIL MONDAY (FOLLOWING WEEK) SO YOU CAN NOT SAY I WAS INTENDING TO GO TO AMAZON - THE WEB SITE I GAVE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH AMAZON.... Do yourself a favor, if you need the service of a locksmith, Southington Security Service is the place to go.I just had the door locks of my place replaced by them and the service was outstanding,From my first visit to the store, which right away give you a confidence feeling that you are at the right place, and my meeting with Isabelle who understood what i was looking for and explained all the possible options they offer, to the appointment date when they came and changed the locks and did all the adjustments needed.Everything went smooth, they were very professional and knowledgeable.Even the owner Mr. Gilbert Wade showed up and worked on the front door while the other locksmiths (John) were working on the basement door.What a gentleman!What a great company!They delivered the peace of mind of security and of a work excellently done.
